Unbelievable Jeff Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 Best of luck Danny, seemed like a good bloke and did a good job for us in the Championship.
Lighthouse Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He meant to sign for Notts County, he was just a long way out of position.
Whitey Grandad Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 Good luck Danny, I think it's for the best for both parties.
Barry Sanchez Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He was actually told to go and stand in a Forest.
Whitey Grandad Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He meant to sign for Notts County, he was just a long way out of position. Thanks, I needed a good laugh. You do realise that the two grounds are just across the river from each other and that one of his crosses is bound to end up in the other ground at least once a season?
Matthew Le God Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He meant to sign for Notts County, he was just a long way out of position. Easy mistake to make...
Goatboy Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He was actually told to go and stand in a Forest. Just slaying me every time Baz. You should be on the stage.

Barry Sanchez Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 (edited) Just slaying me every time Baz. You should be on the stage. Being on stage does not necessarily mean you are a comedian or part of a dance troupe does it? Don't fall in to that trap................ Edited 9 May, 2014 by Barry Sanchez

dronskisaint Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 Good luck and thanks - was an integral part of a very effective Championship side - nice guy too, met him through his giving up some time to help out a local school.
Bearsy Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 just heard on the radio that 4 of southampton's 6 tattoo parlours are closing down

Lallana's Left Peg Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 I was told the original deal was loan to permanent (already agreed) anyway.
Suhari Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 Easy mistake to make... That's pretty much the gap he leaves to his CB too....
DuncanRG Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 He meant to sign for Notts County, he was just a long way out of position. Ha, very good Best of luck to Danny. Not the best of players at Premier League level but he's a bright guy and I always enjoyed his interviews.
Matthew Le God Posted 9 May, 2014 Posted 9 May, 2014 I was told the original deal was loan to permanent (already agreed) anyway. It was announced as that in January... Fox has also agreed a three-year contract at The City Ground, which will take effect after the conclusion of his loan agreement. http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/fox-trots-in-1326533.aspx#tu5oUUrGH08V9IS7.99
John Boy Saint Posted 10 May, 2014 Posted 10 May, 2014 Best Danny Fox moment stood near the front at Vicarage road the players were warming up Danny comes to get the ball from in front of the wall by us, two middle aged ladies stood amongst us one pipes up "ooooh that Danny Fox is gorgeous!" Her mate replies "cor not 'arf" and a wag from behind us shouts "Oi! Steady on Ladies". Good luck to him certainly did a sound job in getting us promoted.
the saint in winchester Posted 10 May, 2014 Posted 10 May, 2014 But a free transfer?! He cost us £1.8M. Surely we could have recouped some of that fee.
Window Cleaner Posted 10 May, 2014 Posted 10 May, 2014 But a free transfer?! He cost us £1.8M. Surely we could have recouped some of that fee. How do we know it was free ? Overpaid and underplayed at least we saved a few bob then.
david in sweden Posted 11 May, 2014 Posted 11 May, 2014 in the Championship season, he and Fraser Richardson were phenomenal as attacking fullbacks, and supplied about a dozen assists EACH. Sadly, when moving up a level he was found out and his defensive shortcomings became apparant, although to be fair..he wasn't the only one. However, not every player is born to be a Prem. footballer but he played his part at the right time. Good luck Danny.
