sadoldgit Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 This may not necessarily be useful but I have had it described to me that the procedure feels like your stomach being pulled out through your arse, which doesn't sound very nice. I haven't had that happen to me but no, it doesn't feel like that. You barely feel anything (perhaps the odd tug - ooer missus) and a nurse usually stands besides you and chats away as if nothing untoward is happening to help take your mind off it.
Dimond Geezer Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 and a nurse usually stands besides you and chats away as if nothing untoward is happening to help take your mind off it. That is a bit weird, laying there with your old man being pulled around by a bloke (in my case) & chatting to a female nurse about holidays, weather, kids schools etc.

A friend of mine said when he had one bit cut he could feel it in his nipple which sounds equally nasty.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 A friend of mine said when he had one bit cut he could feel it in his nipple which sounds equally nasty. Funny place to have a nipple.
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 7 May, 2015 Posted 7 May, 2015 As I said to the wife, when it was mentioned.. "But what happens if I decide to kill you and the kids and want more Children??"... not been mentioned since....
100%Red&White Posted 8 May, 2015 Posted 8 May, 2015 I probably should have suffered more as I had mine done in the morning and that evening went to St Mary's to watch Saints v Steaua Bucharest, climbing 3/4s of the way up Block 38 to my seat. Other than a bit of aching'n'itching, little else after effects. That needle going in before the op tho.......................................
the saint in winchester Posted 8 May, 2015 Posted 8 May, 2015 Had it done in 2000. Friday morning surgery, bed rest Fri pm, quiet weekend. Back at work on Monday, work colleagues none the wiser. Nothing to be concerned about. Man up, man.
Saint-scooby Posted 9 May, 2015 Posted 9 May, 2015 After the ex produced twins I thought that's it time to have the snip, but never got around to it .
andysstuff Posted 29 May, 2015 Posted 29 May, 2015 Good luck, just dony plan any marathons for a month or so. 17 years down the line and don't regret it for a moment.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 May, 2015 Author Posted 29 May, 2015 In recovery now. No pain as yet. Best of all, I've been able to eat something
Plastic Posted 29 May, 2015 Posted 29 May, 2015 My boss told me it hurt like a bastàrd, and his balls swelled up like aubergines.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 May, 2015 Author Posted 29 May, 2015 Currently absolutely no pain whatsoever, but I reckon that's cos of the local anaesthetic. When that wears off, it may be a different case. Just got home to discover that he wife and kids had.....meatballs for tea. ****ing meatballs. Seriously.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 1 June, 2015 Posted 1 June, 2015 Not heard from SO16 for 3 days now, should we be concerned?
SO16_Saint Posted 1 June, 2015 Author Posted 1 June, 2015 Not heard from SO16 for 3 days now, should we be concerned? Haha! Nope, I'm all good. The recovery has gone well without any pain or complications. Just waiting on the second part of the OP (had a 2-4-1 double whammy combo) to recover and I'll be a good as new.
