The red and white striped scarves looked cool at Swansea... thing is with stripes it's so hit and miss. Despite being so easy to do right, so often striped shirts get ****ed up by manufacturers.

Let's just commit to the sash long term.

That agreed?

Sorted then.

Nothing unique or special about red-and-white stripes.

Nothing special about red generic Addidas strips either.

I want us to stand out. Be unique.

Has to be a modern Rank Xerox shirt.

We've moved on from the stripes.

Next season, Saints will have a kit. Some will like it, some won't. Some will buy it, others won't.

The season after, Saints will have a new kit. Some will like it, some won't. Some will buy it, others won't.

Saints, like every other club, have had all sorts of kits. It really is not the end of the world.

I have to agree with Alpine for once, I would like to see a new version of the Xerox shirt.

We've varied our kits a lot more than most clubs, towards the point where it will stop becoming clear what is a "Saints kit", losing our identity in a small way.

Well, yes of course, but at least they are wide enough to prevent us looking like Sunderland, Stoke, Brentford, Exeter..............

But trust me, on the sunscreen.
