Haven't seen anybody post about it so I thought I'd create one.

I was on the coliseum coach yesterday and we stopped at services and we only went and saw Luke Shaw there, great guy and had a photo with everyone that asked.

If you go to 4:09 you'll see it.

Why were our fans singing 'you fat bastard' at Luke, seems rather odd?

Because he was ordering a burger king, was only a joke.

Luke loved all the banter he tweeted saying "Great banter with the fans at the service station, a moment I won't forget #gettheburgersin"

Oh wow. A video of grown men chanting obscenities during daylight hours and amongst kids at a service station. Idiots.

Kind of like chanting obscenities in broad daylight amongst women and children at a football stadium?

I despair at the modern players. FFS burger king after the game. These are professional players , its embarrassing, burger ****ing king. Proper players used to be in the alehouse with a couple of bits of snatch on their arm. Bestie will be turning in his grave. Modern players, pussies.

To be serious, a BK after a games is seriously **** poor recovery food. I thought players these days were almost banned from eating that kind of crap.. You would argue, what's the harm, one burger? Others might say that one of our greatest players ever finished 5 years early because of a crap diet, whilst professionals like Giggs and Philips are playing into their forties.

one burger won't make much of a difference, but there's a fine line of difference at the top level.

A high carb meal with lots of salt is exactly what you should eat after working out, do you even lift?

Absolute crap. High carb full of saturated fat, probably 70%, nah. Maybe you're one of those lifters that go to the gym, talk with your mates for 90% of the time and lift three or four sets! maybe a jog too! You see a lot of fat BB's mate, big muscles and bigger stomach.

do you really think that athletes all tuck into burger and chips after their work outs...lol

Absolutely nothing with a kid in Shaw's shape eating a Burger King every once in a while but if you think salt and saturated fat is what the body is craving after a workout you are mental

Luke Shaw at services with fans, shaking people's hands. Pretty cool.

5 blokes trying to make up songs whilst Luke Shaw looks embarrassed. Cringeworthy.

The only thing Cringeworthy is mongs on here making comments like this.

Seriously, who gives a f*ck if Luke as a BK or if some blokes sing a song.

There are some boring, sad t*ssers on here.

If they'd managed to make up anything remotely witty it could've been funny, but come on, that was pathetic.

What do you think you sweat, just water? That's why sports drinks are high in salt as well

The only thing you need to do after high intensity exercise is replace glycogen levels as that is what the body is screaming out for. However, you need to eat the right glycogen food sources for this otherwise its no good. The only athletes who need to worry about salt levels are distance runners, and not footballers.
