Then perhaps 42 can start a thread about why Season Ticket Holders should be either the only ones to vote, or why there should be some form of weighting given to their votes...

That's my main problem with stripes too, most sponsors just look tacky on there, big stuck on patch, it doesn't work. Xerox style, or a slightly nicer looking plain red, maybe a bit more white but with black shorts and white socks. Duh!! I am a dunce!!! Yes, the sash won't work properly with a sponsor. That makes my second choice of Rank Xerox the definite No.1 then. That kit is actually much more marketable to a sponsor than any other kit in my opinion, as it kinda highlights the sponsor space.

Um. Polls only work if you vote with your own opinion. You are not supposed to anticipate the popular vote. I had always thought that I would be a stripes supporter forever. However, i feel we need a kit that gives us identity, but has some kind of link to a tradition.

In order of general preference in terms of what I would like to see next season: rank zerox stripes sash red with black shorts/white socks all red if had to hedge my bets from the whispers, sounds like an all red kit again next season with yellow and blue away.

In the same way that 81.7% would prefer anything other then mainly red.

I like the quarters too, but as we only get one vote I went for Rank Xerox The time feels right for the Keegan / Williams / Armstrong kit to return.

SNSUN Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 The sash kit was my favourite Saints kit ever, and it marked the start of our renaissance but that's exactly why I don't want it to become the norm. Stripes is what I grew up with, but I'm not as attached to them as others on here. Red shirts is fine but they're not unique to Saints. They need some sort of design, or more white, to make them ours. But not with that horrible gold lettering though. Yuck. Quarters is too "rugby" IMO. The best of those options is the Rank Xerox kit. It would appease the stripes fans and is still a majority of red. Does anyone else have it?

I was very disappointed with this years generic Adidas shirt - I would have thought they could have come up with something original for us.
