corsacar saint Posted 1 May, 2014 Posted 1 May, 2014 Had Dani Osvaldos disallowed goal stood tonight, perhaps he would have gone from zero to hero at Juventus and we would have got a respectable fee for him. If only.
Saint Bones Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 If only he scored more and didn't head butt Jose we might be further up the Table So do we all think he has 0% chance of redemption... Will we ever see him in a Saints shirt again. I wonder if his sale is a deciding factor into how much we spend on a new striker ?
AussieDog Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 If we can't get a decent fee (and depending on who else moves on in the summer..), then I think he may get one last chance if he genuinely wants to give it a go. I know it wasn't for the same sort of reason, but Puncheon got the opportunity when virtually everyone had written him off, so the precedent is there.
OLDER BUT WISER Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 I think only the dressing room will decide on his future.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 If only he was good for us If only he hadnt nutted Fonte If only he wasnt a ****
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 There's still the World Cup for him to shine, assuming he goes
CB Saint Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 As we say in recruitment, there is a seat for every 4rse. Some one somewhere will be willing to pay for the bell end.
Sour Mash Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 Think we'll get £5/6m for him, wash our hands of all the hassle and move on. Can't think of too many clubs that would be happy to take a £10m+ gamble on him.
david in sweden Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 Alternative actions to consider; (1) ....see if he gets in the Italian 23.... (2) ....if he plays games in the WC....and does reasonably well... (3).... if that encourages other clubs to bid for him.... (4) ....get the feeling in the SMS dressing room.... about a possible return..? (5) ....sell to the highest bidder but we haven't got to point 1 yet ....so be patient, wait and see.
Saint_John Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 Had Dani Osvaldos disallowed goal stood tonight, perhaps he would have gone from zero to hero at Juventus and we would have got a respectable fee for him. If only.... And the Referee was Cattenburg !!!!!!
ericofarabia Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 ... And the Referee was Cattenburg !!!!!! ..... anti SFC conspiracy / agenda ahoy !!!
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 I don't really want him mucking up squad harmony again - he would need to make it up a lot with Jose first. However, I don't remember him bad-mouthing the club since he's been gone, so perhaps it may work.
