Speed Camera A338 Wessex Way, Dean Park, Westbound

Any one know what the speed limit along this road is please?

 

I assumed it was 50mph and this is shown on a relevant website

 

However I have been sent a notice of intended prosecution with a notified speed of 47 mph

 

Any assistance appreciated

Went through that speed camera today. Almost certain it's 50.

Along by the football ground it's 50, further west it drops to 40. I drove along there on Sunday.

It is 50 until you go past the roundabout for the train station/asda. It thendrops to 40.

The notice says Dean Park so assumed it was one of the first set of cameras opposite the football ground

You need to check the signs and the traffic order. They put this order on a temporary order. Has it been renewed? Send a freedom of information request to the relevant council for a copy of the traffic order. Check the signs are exactly where they should be, both sides of the road, that the red circles are still red not orange. That hat there are no side roads and slip leading into the site are also signed correctly

The terminal signs into the site should be lit as it's a "principle rd" and there are street lights in the vicinity.

You need to measure the lines in the road. Are they 1m or 2m?
