So looks like all three are reserves then if squad numbers are anything to go by.

Well they aren't, all they do is give a reasonable idea of the pecking order for some positions. If you applied the same to Saints then Lallana (20) and Shaw (23) wouldn't be starters at club level. Welbeck, Lampard, Wilshire all have shirts from 1-11, but I'd suggest none are guaranteed starters.

Shaw and Lambert are very unlikely to start vs Italy, but I'd say Lallana has a very good chance.

So what exactly has Wilshere done to earn the number 7 shirt? Really that's not an indication of Roy's thinking because i think Wilshere was fortunate to make the squad and would be crazy if promoted into first 11 over others who have actually had good seasons.

Tbf, it can't be an indication as Lampard is also 8 and shouldn't be anywhere near the team

I'm not sure if this has been asked elsewhere or if it's relevant here...

Anyone going to the England game next friday? Just booked tickets for it as I think it should be a great chance to see the Saints players get decent game time at international level. Hodgson will surely give everyone a run out in these friendlies to try and find his best team.

This will be my first International match. Have seen Rickie Lambert score for us in League One, the Championship and the Premier League, would absolutely love to see him play and score for England. (In the flesh that is, I am aware he already has two goals for his country!)

Really? It seems like the standard criticisms of Rooney that the whole mass media has been piping up with for quite some time.

Don't hear it from ex pros, let alone a united legend.

And what you do hear is how Rooney hasn't reached his potential or best on the international stage, not that he might never reach it. Big difference.

The United part I agree with. But to my shame I listen to a bit of talksport on the drive to work and the conversations from ex pros has pretty much matched public opinion. That Rooney is first choice but has serious competition from Sturridge playing as the main striker, and that Lallana and Sterling provide genuine options in a front 4 (notwithstanding the likes of Oxo and Barkley).

I think if Rooney is anything but 100% fit and sharp we might, just might, see something different for a change.

Ah right. Yes, that part is fair. Rooney has been somewhat "unlucky" with fitness when it comes to major championships but has also underperformed since his very early days. I was more referring to the headless chicken and undroppable parts.

The aliexpress website is not allowed to show the branding, but each of the vendors state that all branding is included. Mine included everything.

Any seller you'd recommend? I can't work out what the catch is / who might be dodge...

My seller doesn't appear on there anymore. I think sellers change a lot based on available stock. Check out the feedback ratings of the sellers until you find one that you are happy with.

how lomg was delivery?

Mine took 10 days, make sure you choose a seller offering prompt delivery otherwise they'll arrive after the group stages and thus be pointless to wear...

What the hell is aliexpress may I ask?

Can you get the England shirts off the factory production lines for a fraction of the price or something?

Fake gear of variable quality; some pretty much as good as the original, others hopelessly substandard.

Whats the point of promoting youth, coaching them into better players and doing things the right way when they all f@ck off after one great season? What is the point of contracts that are worth nothing? I loved our rise through the leagues but whats the point?
