As it comes round to the time where some players are let go, what is the current status of some of our players?

 

Of the first team squad is it only Guly whose contract is up at the end of the season? I can't see him being offered a new one.

 

Then, I think Fonte and Cork both have just one more year left, so hopefully those will be looked at.

 

Further ahead, Jay Rod and Clyne then have 2 years left. For JR especially we need to look at his, as by the time he is back from injury it could be just over a year to run which would be a dangerous position for us to be in - hopefully it will be looked at over the summer.

Hooiveld and Davis also out of contract in 2015.

I expect we'll have another round of contract negotiations next season, once the squad's settled and everyone knows their place in it.

 

Cork and Clyne will need assurances about their importance to the team before they sign on again.

It would suprise me. Because he isn't very good.
