Never won a game this season after going behind !

Yeah in reality it's worse than that, we've not won a game this season in the league when the opposition has scored, except if we already held a 3 goal lead at the time! May just be a freak stat, but may hint at something on the mental side. Regardless it's very frustrating!

I think we've only won one game that we've been behind in since we came back to the PL (Villa last season). It is very true that we struggle when the opposition takes the lead, however it's also the case that we've dropped more points from winning positions than any other team. It's a wonder we're doing so well really!

While it is true that we have not won a game this season after going behind, we have come back to draw 6 times, which is the highest of anyone apart from WBA. Indeed we are 13the in the table of points gained from a losing position, one place behind Man City (Liverpool are 10th). This would suggest it is not a mental issue, since we seem to have the mental toughness to fight back and get on terms again.

Incidentally the old stat that gets trotted out and has been repeated here 2 posts up, that we have dropped more points than any other team in the PL this season is no longer the case. That honour has pased now to Wet Sham who have dropped 20 points from a winning position compared with our 18. Given we were bottom on this stat last season maybe this is a small sign of improvement and also can not be aimed wholly at MP since half of last season was under NA. By the way Liverpool and Man City are 11th and 12th in this table. So is it such a terrible thing?

We have also never lost a game after the final whistle, in a game that we were leading in, and never won a game after the final whistle in a game we were losing in. On top of this we have only ever drawn matches after the final whistle in games we were drawing in!

Also have we been 8th or 9th all year?

Oh and great season.

We dont win enough games full stop.

Since the formation of the premier league we have won 14 games twice and 52 points on one of these occasions is the joint most points we have ever massed.

So with 3 games left of the season we are on 13 wins, one off the most wins in a season and also 3 points off our highest points total. I think we will end with 53 points and 14 wins, which will be our best season in the premier league.

Also bed achieving this, we have played the best football I have ever seen.

Well we win enough, and we will carry on building on that.

Not sure what people want.... The title?

I think there's definitely a third opinion to be had here.

Glasgow will never answer the fundamental question that all complainants must answer; which is precisely who of the above teams are we actually are better than and as such *should* be ahead of according to the strength of our squad. As such, I for one am more than happy with our overall performance this season.

Having said that, the fact that we are the only team to have failed to win a match from behind in the Premiership this season and have not, as I've so often pointed out, been able to get a win from any match in which we've conceded an equaliser (only re-taking the lead at any point in a match ONCE all season) does seem to highlight where our weaknesses lie.

I'm happy with our season as a whole but feel that there is room for improvement and that a statistic/trait as poignant as what I've mentioned above certainly highlights where that improvement needs to come.

We are also the only team to have won at Anfield this season. Also the only team to have kept a clean sheet at Anfield.

This fact says a lot more to me, this is a huge achievement. Just stop and think about this for a minute. This is no ordinary Liverpool team and we won there and kept a clean sheet. We also played some great football and pressed them up top.... Amazing team performance!

And we prevented Suarez from scoring in that game! ;)
