Saint-Beer Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 Found an article about Saints potentially looking for managers to replace Poch. Although the article does state "The South American will become a free agent in the summer", which of course is wrong. I hope there working on a deal to keep Poch !! http://www.clubcall.com/southampton/southampton-look-at-managerial-candidates-1721668.html
Saint-Beer Posted 15 April, 2014 Author Posted 15 April, 2014 This article makes a valid point about Saints being in a awkward situation... http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/southampton-line-up-former-player-to-take-over-from-mauricio-poch
Bewildered Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 Well, given that there is a possibility he will go, I would hope the club is drawing up a list of potential replacements that they can approach should MP decide to leave.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 Frankly, I'd be more concerned if there wasn't at least some vague idea of who they would like should Poch be sacked/leave than if there wasn't.
DT Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 I had a really weird thought the other day that Roy Hodgson, so enamoured with our young players, will be our next manager after failing miserably in the World Cup. Could do worse.
Window Cleaner Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 I had a really weird thought the other day that Roy Hodgson, so enamoured with our young players, will be our next manager after failing miserably in the World Cup. Could do worse. Sporting Director I'd expect if anything.
Tom28 Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 Is anyone actually taking this article seriously?! Have a day off. The complete cretins behind that website failed on the most simplest of details: HE'S NOT OUT OF CONTRACT IN THE SUMMER. Delete the thread and move on.
Fowllyd Posted 15 April, 2014 Posted 15 April, 2014 I'm still clinging to my hopes of a Richie Barker/Steve Coppell dream ticket.
Badger Posted 16 April, 2014 Posted 16 April, 2014 Mirror says we're looking at Dan Petrescu. Please no RDM's half-brother minus without the charisma and 'track record'. I'm sure RK and co have some contingency plans in the event of MP walking, but doubt Petrescu has come to their notice. Swiss or German candidates are more likely to be at the forefront of their thinking, unless its the 'up and coming route again, in which case 'loyal'Eddie may be mooted again.
Barry Sanchez Posted 16 April, 2014 Posted 16 April, 2014 I was tapped up this morning in the gym, he got bored when I started enjoying it.
mack rill Posted 16 April, 2014 Posted 16 April, 2014 I'm still clinging to my hopes of a Richie Barker/Steve Coppell dream ticket. that'll do nicely,
