Saint_Tony Posted 13 April, 2014 Posted 13 April, 2014 Genuine question, looking at the fixtures we have left and the way we played yesterday, it's entirely possible. It's still been a great season but we all know how poor an end we had last season once it looked like we were safe.

With the form Everton are in (7 consecutive league wins) and the fact that they are one of those teams we never seem to beat, I seriously doubt it.

We went on a horrible run with just 4 wins in 24/25, now just 3 wins in our last 10 Mopo has a very poor win % both in career and at Saints.

Is the manager not getting the best out of the players? Our 1st eleven is exceptional, top 6 easy. Problem it seems is mopo cant get the best out of the squad players like Martinez, Pulis, Rodgers etc have We are at a crossroads now it seems. We could invest and kick on, or our best team of players in my lifetime will have mmm 8th place to show for it all.

Because football is more than XI vs XI over a season. Our first choice XI has some very talented players capable of playing for some of the clubs above us, but we lack squad depth. If our first XI changes due to injury/suspension we are significantly weakened as only have depth at right back and central midfield.

It's not ghetto amount of injuries, more who has been injured and who has stepped in. Boruc being out cost us a fair few points for a start.
