Genuine question, looking at the fixtures we have left and the way we played yesterday, it's entirely possible. It's still been a great season but we all know how poor an end we had last season once it looked like we were safe.

Jos and Guly should leave this summer. Why give them a run out.

Youngsters maybe. Gallagher will get time due to Jay's injury

Stoke are catching up fast, luckily for us Newcastle are right out of form

++++MAKE A CUP OF TEA INSTEAD OF RESPONDING TO THIS THREAD++++

I'm just asking what I believe is a valid question. I'm not so sure we will get any points and would like to know what others think.Don't slate the thread if you're simply going to make a response like that

You think "do you think we're going to end the season with five - yes five - consecutive defeats" is a valid question?

Of course we aren't. Next.

A couple. Reckon we will make 50. But dont think our record is in danger.

I thought last week we might get 10. More fool me.....

Mopo let the team switch off at the end of last season, and hes letting them do it again this season.

We'll lose the matches against Villa and Swansea and win against Everton and Man United. We're Saints, that would be typically us.

With the form Everton are in (7 consecutive league wins) and the fact that they are one of those teams we never seem to beat, I seriously doubt it.

We will get 5 more points. 1 at villa, 1 at swansea and 3 against united. We will lose to Everton.

That would be perfect another 5 more points would take us to 53 points & we will beat our 2002/03 points total (52)

Against all the odds :) :)

COYR we can do it

The happier ones are cracking, their argument of our transformation is folding before their very own eyes, reality is burning them,we will always accept them back into the real position of the club.

Champions League

Europa League

Gone and I am pleased as a dream is only good if you can reach it, that was not a dream but delusion sold to the gullible by a salesman.

Sorry for posting something that's clearly put me in trolling territory. Apologies for my negative concerns regarding our next few results

The rules of SWF are pretty simple - all opinions or questions are welcome & allowed, so long as they are positive ;)

Dont take it personally mate

Thought it was a valid question... no Rodriguez = little pace to get behind teams + players protecting themselves + MP has had enough of the media hype = 2 points with 2 away draws.

The end of the world is nigh !

I'm just surprised that the implosion has taken so long after the Don has left !

No more points, Mopo will leave, all good players will leave, Kathy will sell to a gangster !

On the plus side Glasgow and Alpine will have something proper to gripe about

So we've got a point, but it looks like half the team are on holiday already, same as happened last season. If the game today was a couple of months ago I have no doubt we would have won. There was no urgency or intensity, and the remaining games are all against better opposition than Villa, who were very poor.

Form hasnt been great since November. We went on a horrible run with just 4 wins in 24/25, now just 3 wins in our last 10 :(

Mopo has a very poor win % both in career and at Saints.

Poor effort even by your standards.

What's interesting is that we have all these players who are wanted by teams above us. Why aren't we higher in the league? Is the manager not getting the best out of the players?

Our 1st eleven is exceptional, top 6 easy.

Problem it seems is mopo cant get the best out of the squad players like Martinez, Pulis, Rodgers etc have

We are at a crossroads now it seems. We could invest and kick on, or our best team of players in my lifetime will have mmm 8th place to show for it all.

Because football is more than XI vs XI over a season. Our first choice XI has some very talented players capable of playing for some of the clubs above us, but we lack squad depth. If our first XI changes due to injury/suspension we are significantly weakened as only have depth at right back and central midfield.

Injuries are often used to excuse our poor form or results on here.

***Reality***

Only Crystal Palace have had LESS injuries than us.

It's not ghetto amount of injuries, more who has been injured and who has stepped in. Boruc being out cost us a fair few points for a start.
