I'm really not surprised. No Jay Rod, no decisiveness, no ability to really open up a team. His pace would've been very useful.

At least this result is insignificant for us, eh.

 

I agree with that, although he's not a lethal finisher, he does give us another dimension going forward.

Meh. This is just like the away games at Sunderland and Spurs. We looked completely in control and yet we gift them a goal and all of a sudden they have got their tails up and we look panicked at the back and clueless up front.

 

Without J-Rod's ability to stretch defences with his direct running our attacking play is just so slow and one-dimensional. It's far too easy to defend against.

You can see that Lallana and Lambert aren't putting in 100% after seeing what happened to JROD last week.

 

Can't really blame them either

 

Lambert should cos he's not going anyway. I've seen mountains more mobile
