Saint_clark Posted 26 May, 2014 Share Posted 26 May, 2014 The first concrete confirmations of an approach across all mediums. Notably the BBC who held back for a while, and then put it as their front page story. It's clearly happening, just a matter of the announcement now. The beeb have run stories about deals that haven't gone through before, you know - whether because they weren't real or because talks broke down. Lallana's Left Peg Posted 26 May, 2014 Share Posted 26 May, 2014 Here is why it smarts a little: 1. Who on earth is qualified at our club to name a successor? 2. It provides the perfect catalyst for players to seek to move - rather than state how good the club is they want to join, they can point to Saints lacking ambition and unable to keep Pochettino etc. 3. We get into just about the best shape we've been in my lifetime and it feels like it could come to a spectacularly abrupt end (it was a fun journey back up though) 4. It is a sobering and numbing reminder that no club really is ever going to break the mould in the Premier League unless there is more player and Manager loyalty

I dont think he's acted with much class, i wont give him much thought after he leaves and i dont think he's as good as he thinks he is. BARCELONASAINT Posted 26 May, 2014 Share Posted 26 May, 2014 Firstly i am not saying this means Poch is off and this is a possible replacement....but Chris Hughton was at the Grand Harbour hotel today.....he could have been there for anything completely unrelated to football and i gather there was a very large party there. Before you ask my source i can say its impeccable and i have seen the photographic evidence. The fact he was happy to have his picture taken with someone suggests its probably unrelated to Poch possibly going but i thought i would share! Certainly better than your two last attempts post-ban. I understand the UI has a Heisenberg, so a neat ploy to piggyback off a legitimate poster (of course, you have done something similar with Olallana, so the modus operandi has your fingerprints all over it).
