Am I the only one who gets ****ed of with posts that contain the words " it is clear that" or " it is obvious that" when we actually know nothing? We can all speculate/debate but in all honesty we can only guess at what is really going on.

Do people really think Pochettino would just casually turn up to Spurs' training ground for talks?

Even if he did want to be a naughty boy, I'd trust both he, his advisors, and Spurs would find a far more discreet way to talk - and most definitely not somewhere like Spurs' training ground.

If he has been given permission to then no issue. He would have to visit the TG prior to be appointed surely, to see what the facilities are like.

Ancelotti possibly rescuing his job so Poch to Spurs a goer according to the Telegraph.

Pretty much every paper/Journo have reported Poch to Spurs, would they ALL get it wrong?

This bit is interesting (though probably about as reliable as all the ITKs around here)

The pics of Poch at HW yesterday ARE genuine. 4 security staff currently suspended. Spurs did not have permission to talk with Poch 1/2

So a lot of **** is going down with Saints right now. Saints considering options in terms of legal action. Levy and Poch met for 1 hour

Daniel levy insisted the suspensions happen. Club also believe that the dip in odds are due to security staff leaking to friends. I'm told

That Hotspur way is chaos at the moment with with the suspensions and leaks.

Would spurs really meet with MP without asking permission and if the did would they not hold it somewhere private and faraway from anything to do with spurs (not to mention catching the evidence on camera)?

Surely Saints have realised that MP has been speaking to Spurs, either officially or unofficially for a while?

Naive in the extreme to think otherwise. Especially if he has been hesistant to commit to us.

OK, so if Saints do take legal action, what may happen?

If the picture is real, as some people said on the last thread. Then what is this black mass on Pochs' Shoulder?

The 'glare' on the right also has a very strange smudge effect around Poch's youngest son's foot.

What benefit is there to Spurs by not asking permission to speak with MP? None that I can readily see?

Chance for both sides to see if the other is right for them. Would be embarassing for MP if Spurs made an official approach and then the move didnt happen.

Commonplace for agents and intermediaries to hold talks then the official approach is a rubber stamp.

Once the approach comes it signals that MP has suggested to Spurs that he is keen on the move.

Oh FFS, he's going, he's staying, he's going, he's staying. Can't these papers make up their minds. And as for the Mirror article...."switch is now in doubt after boardroom differences at White Hart Lane" is a little at odds to MP staying if the players aren't sold.

This post on that Spurs forum made me laugh:

If you were Pochettino, you wouldn't be so childish. You'd know perfectly well that a club like Tottenham Hotspur will be looking at a lot of big name managers - some of them considerably bigger names than you - and you wouldn't throw your toys out of the pram about it. You'd just be thrilled if you were eventually offered the job - a job which will pay you far more than your current job and which will allow you to work with far better players and have the opportunity to achieve greater things in the game.

Its the typical Spurs "We're a big club honest guv" deluded drivel that comes out of most spuds fan's mouths. Come on Mauricio - you should be thrilled to take over such a massive club

I simply cannot believe MP or his agent would be so stupid as to go to visit Spuds without permission.

If he had permission then fine. If he didn't then I would sue the ass off Spurs, put MP on Garden leave for a year just to spite him and use him doing this illegally to motivate the players while using Spurs money to pay him and of course fund a replacement.

Something ain't right that's f'sure

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino set to stay - if his leading players are not sold

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-boss-mauricio-pochettino-set-3601798

Quite a funny article. Lots of no brainer statements there plus pretty clear by all accounts that Lallana and Shaw will go so then its kind of a redundant argument.

Im sure Krugar said that next season starts now or words to that effect after the utd game. So surely that includes the manager getting tied down, it is 2 weeks since the season finished and still the manager isnt sorted.

Imo he is off on that basis as MP has already said that he will talk at the end of the season and im sure the contract would of already been drawn up for then

Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

He also said MP has a year left on his contract, and even if a manager had a 20 year contract with a club he may not be there two years later.

As it stands we have a manager under contract so don't need nor particularly expect a contract signing - can see him seeing this one run for while.

Press insisted players and manager would be gone within days of end of season.....

On 6th May Poch and his sons went into Hendy Ford in Easteligh to buy a car for his eldest. My mate who works there text me when he walked in there at the time. Could this be from there?

Far from clear.

Club said they wont be sold, players not asked for transfer, initial press reports proved false.

They may go, but got feeling most/all will stay.

People on here who personally know the Lallana family think he is going.

Will be very hard to keep Shaw.

Schneiderlin touting himself for a CL club and talking about Saints in the past tense.

Croatian Journalist saying he has been told Lovren to Liverpool will happen.

Hopefully these won't all happen, but some will almost certainly IMO.

Listen to Krueger, listen to Lallana, listen to Schneiderlin, listen to Poch refuse to commit himself.

If the Mirror think he will stay if the players stay then great, and fans that think they all will - great too.

Pochettino's younger son also appears to have an extraordinarily long left leg. His elder son, it seems, has very short legs and no feet.

Thing is he is right you come across as totally agenda driven these days (in fact ever since NC left) you just seem to be wishing for it to go tits up so you can say told you so and bash the new board. What ever your true feelings that's how you're coming across HTBH.

At the risk of upsetting the anti "it is clear" brigade one thing is clear to me. He's not fannying around undecided whether to leave. Torn between loyalty to the club that gave him his break , and the ambition of joining a bigger club. If he doesn't sign for spurs, its not because he didn't want to leave. Either they didn't want him, or he feels that the particular job isn't right at present. He's playing us, waiting for a better offer and if one doesn't come it'll be spun as Poch snubs Spurs.

This won't be popular on here ,but if I was in ralphs shoes I know what I'd do. When he calls and says "Ducky, I've rejected levy and want to sign that contract", id say "**** off ,we'll talk about it next season when the one you've got runs out".

We are starting to look like a desperado whose wife is having an affair, we're waiting at home desperately hoping she will come back to us

, where all will be forgiven. We should **** him off and go on the pull, cause he'll be putting it about again soon enough.

No. Im not wishing for it to go tits up.

Im bashing the new board because they aren't appearing to be doing a good job.

If they were, I would be happy.

Im sure most fans arent that happy at the moment so its ok to say that surely rather than pretend its all great?

People say "we will keep all our players" and it has no base but that is ok because its a positive thought?
