WealdSaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Well done Leicester City & Nigel Pearson. Good to see an ex Saints manager having success.
trousers Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Has Dean Hammond played many games this season? Would be good to see him return to st Marys with Leicester next season
Saints foreva Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Can't wait to see that **** Nugent flop again in the Premier League.
doddisalegend Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Do you think they would let us have Kasper Schmeichel.........
Berkshire Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Has Dean Hammond played many games this season? Would be good to see him return to st Marys with Leicester next season Mainly been coming on as a sub late in games to protect leads. Doubt he'll be there next season. hasper57saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Almost a 'Home' game for us. Less than 40 minutes travel away from here. Congrats Leicester look forward to seeing you at St.Marys next season.
Dr Who? Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Does Oakley still play for them? I take it he is in the lower leagues now. Is he coaching? He was a great passer of the ball.
SuperMikey Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Does Oakley still play for them? I take it he is in the lower leagues now. Is he coaching? He was a great passer of the ball. Been at Exeter for a couple of years now. Still only 35 - seems to have been around for ages! Congrats Leicester, looking forward to my trip to the King Power Stadium, or the Walkers Stadium or whatever the f*ck it is now Stadium next season.
Fan The Flames Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 **** Leicester. Although I'm pleased for Pearson.
Whitey Grandad Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Has Dean Hammond played many games this season? Would be good to see him return to st Marys with Leicester next season Came on and scored the equaliser at Wigan. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/City-news-Winning-promotion-home-special-says/story-20904030-detail/story.html
dronskisaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Pleased for Pearson and Hammond, pleased for us...we've been a bit of a jinx team for them over the years
miserableoldgit Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Well done Nigel Pearson, top bloke! There were a few on here that were not NP fans when he was our manager.
Shroppie Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 There were a few on here that were not NP fans when he was our manager. Certainly didn't include me. He did a great job for us and I was sorry to see him go. Maybe not the best technically, but as good a motivator as you'll find. I wish him good luck next season and look forward to visiting a new ground for me.
Roger Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Shows what a muppet Lowe was to get rid of him and bring in those Dutch clowns.
Leicestersaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Congrats to Leicester City - they have done it in style this year - and another away match within travelling distance!!
Under Weststand Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Really pleased for Pearson, congratulations to Leicester & welcome back to the premiership.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 **** place, cock chav fans, cock scouse forward, **** for away fans but decent manager if misserable. Better than QPR though so had my grudging support for a while.
DuncanRG Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Not a great fan of the club but pleased for Nigel. Hope he holds onto his job if things start looking grim for them next year.
Dark Munster Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 There were a few on here that were not NP fans when he was our manager. Yes indeed, the Lowe luvvies who called him the boot boy and were delighted he was kicked out. They've been silent for a long time now. Shows what a muppet Lowe was to get rid of him and bring in those Dutch clowns. Yes, him and his luvvies. Well done Nige! Most of us knew you'd do well.
CB Fry Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 Yes indeed, the Lowe luvvies who called him the boot boy and were delighted he was kicked out. They've been silent for a long time now. Yes, him and his luvvies. Well done Nige! Most of us knew you'd do well. You're talking about the one person who called him the boot boy.
Berkshire Saint Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 Realistically, I think whoever was in charge of us in 08/09 we still would have gone down. Probably best for Pearson's career to leave us when he did really.
benjii Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 **** Leicester. Although I'm pleased for Pearson. Agree. Don't like Leicester as a club at all. ****ty place. Shows what a muppet Lowe was to get rid of him and bring in those Dutch clowns. Indeed. Even if you accept that Lowe needed to come in and slash costs, sacking a rising manager and replacing him with someone from the Dutch sixth division is a little maverick, to say the least. In hindsight though, thank goodness Lowe made those errors!
pap Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 I'd be interested in the intersection of those who don't like Leicester and the fans that sing "you're just a town full of pakis" whenever we go up there. It's rough and ready, sure - but had a good chat with the Leicester bunch after my last visit there. I hope they stay up.
CB Fry Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 I hope they stay up too. It's down the road from me so I am delighted, just need Steve McClaren to do the business and I'm laughing. Leicester is basically as nondescript a city as Southampton. Some okay bits, plenty of diversity but generally just AN Other English mid sized city.
Colinjb Posted 6 April, 2014 Posted 6 April, 2014 I have no love for Leicester as a place or a club, far from it, but delighted for Nigel Pearson.
