Not really surprised about Boruc, totally absent from any of the build up imagery.

Gazzaniga playing puts us on a 2 goal handicap, so we will need to score 3 to win. 2-2 draw I think

Aside from our game at Cardiff over Christmas of course.

Better to support then undermine.

Players warming up in number 9 shirts in honour of Jay Rod. Nice touch

Shows excellent team spirit. Lets hope we see J Rod fit and well again, my guess December.

It's a bit mawkish, isn't it? I mean, I understand the team spirit angle and all that, but he's not dead. He's hurt his knee.

Maybe I'm just being cynical. Maybe I should expect my colleagues to all wear t-shirts with my face on it next time I'm off work ill?

Might be that he has missed out on an England place as well ole cynical one.

He's not dead, lost in the jungle or terminally ill, he's suffered the same injury as many footballers and other sportspeople before him.

Could we not just have a minutes applause at the precise time into the game when he was injured last week ?

Or, better still delay kick off until after that time has past ?

1. You don't know that.

2. So what? It's hardly something to mourn over. Will every team show solidarity for any players not selected for their World Cup squads?
