Matthew Le God Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 That isn't even remotely close to being a difficult decision! Probably the ref's fault really as he should have told the linesman that there was another touch, which he may not have been able to see. It wasn't offside from the initial pass, but was once the 2nd Man City player touched the ball through to Nasri.
Pastor Patrón Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 That's kinda cool, assume he did the whole interview in English then?

Saint_clark Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 I bet you he gets a fine and/or a touchline ban. And the officials get nothing.
S-Clarke Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 I bet you he gets a fine and/or a touchline ban. And the officials get nothing. Usually what happens, and that will then condemn MP to never speaking English again, I imagine!
Coxford_lou Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 Fair play to Adam Blackmore for giving him a heads up on it. Pochettino criticised the decision but hasn't turned it into a personal attack on linesman from what I've seen, so I'm hoping he's OK. But sod the result, it's just a result. I'm gutted for Jay. Fingers crossed for the guy.
Leicestersaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Share Posted 5 April, 2014 It seems to me that the quality of the refereeing and assistants' decision in the PL have got worse and worse - that offside was so obvious it defies belief that the linesman and referee did not honestly see it. Then he leaves in the summer without ever doing an interview in English Not really fussed if I'm honest, getting him to sign a contract is far more important than him doing an interview in English.
