That isn't even remotely close to being a difficult decision!

Probably the ref's fault really as he should have told the linesman that there was another touch, which he may not have been able to see. It wasn't offside from the initial pass, but was once the 2nd Man City player touched the ball through to Nasri.

Absolutely Foy's fault. At the very least he should have consulted his colleague.

I bet you he gets a fine and/or a touchline ban. And the officials get nothing.

Usually what happens, and that will then condemn MP to never speaking English again, I imagine!

Fair play to Adam Blackmore for giving him a heads up on it. Pochettino criticised the decision but hasn't turned it into a personal attack on linesman from what I've seen, so I'm hoping he's OK.

But sod the result, it's just a result. I'm gutted for Jay. Fingers crossed for the guy.

It seems to me that the quality of the refereeing and assistants' decision in the PL have got worse and worse - that offside was so obvious it defies belief that the linesman and referee did not honestly see it.

you can see his translator thinking '**** im going to be out of a job soon'

.. or thinking of another pay day attending the FA Tribunal with MP...

If he leaves in the summer without ever doing an interview in English....

Then he leaves in the summer without ever doing an interview in English ;)

Not really fussed if I'm honest, getting him to sign a contract is far more important than him doing an interview in English.

Ponch: (in English) The linesman killed the game.

Adam Blackmore: I don't want to get you in trouble, but we are furious and we are not the manager.

Ponch:(in English)Yes,er Si.(in Spanish) The blody linesman is a cock. I could kill him with both hands, the ****ing *****. And the ref could see it on the big screen. Thye just wanted Man City to win. The ****s.

(later in thr FA offices): FA: Mr Pochettino, we are looking to fine you twenty thousand pounds and a five week touchline ban for calling the officials at the Man City game names. Have you anythiung to say?

Ponch: Er, Yez. My,a, Interporture 'e is, how you say, a little upset and 'e ,um, get wrong what I say. I think it was 'is own opinion, nota mine, you Honour. i justa comment on, a, much sadness.

FA: Case dismissed.
