Talk of "difficult financial position" offset with "nobody needs to be sold" Do we still have top 4 ambitions? survive or succeed or simply support? What direction will KL take us this summer?

It's good to have goals but I see no need to pander to a fanbase with empty rhetoric. Just get on with it.

Its not the 2nd season they have been playing together though is it for most of them? The glass ceiling has been reached, people are only seeing that now. Sky has won. FA Cup all day long. The reality for us is that our club put 8th (not 4th) above an FA cup run this season. That is a worry - an approach I hope that died when NC left.

What direction will KL take us this summer? ain't it that hans gruber said our ambition is to "maximise our potential". He said it like three or four times. It seems a pretty realistic ambition IMO. I would be v.happy if we maximise our potentials.

Here is logic: Even shit teams win cups, winning cup don't mean ur special team & can easily be flash in pan like with Wigan or Portsmouth. You have to have a really good team to finish 4th tho! If we have a team good enough to finish 4th we have more chance of keeping them together + then cup runs will naturally follow. I'd still sooner have my day out at Wembs tho! I'm more grasshopper than ant.

So what you are saying is that the reason people want fourth is that there is an increased chance of a cup run in the future? Why not just take the cup option in this hypothetical scenario instead?
