pangy Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Will be no shame in defeat today providing we show fight City average 3.4 goals a game at home this season which is a scary stat
John Boy Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Could be an outing for Jonno Quick today. If he could guarantee a repeat his 4 touches and 2 quick goals display from the MK Dons game, then why not give him a spin
ThreeSixty Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 When we played them first game of last season our starting XI had Kelv, Hoovield, Fox and Guly in it. By that logic we'll win 4-1. Bench that day had Seaborne, Sharp and Richardson...
View From The Top Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Instead of being ripped of by the prices for #MCFC v #Saintsfc I'll be ripped off by taking the kids to see Rio2 plus I'll miss the games
Faz Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Simon Peach @SimonPeach · 54s Expecting two #SaintsFC changes at #MCFC. Team to be announced shortly.
Olallana Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Easiest lineup to pick of the year? Boruc Chambers-Fonte-Lovren-Shaw Cork-Schneiderlin Davis-Lallana-Rodriguez Lambert .....
Olallana Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Tbf, they have Hart so only fair we have Gazzanigga in there...
LGTL Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 God sake. Gazza is in no way shape or form good enough.
Whitey Grandad Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza and Morgan in for Boruc and JWP. Crap. Put Morgan in goal. He couldn't be any worse.
Window Cleaner Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 God sake. Gazza is in no way shape or form good enough. What difference does that make, we have no-one else when Boruc is injured. Can't believe we didn't address that in January.
saint lard Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 No Ramirez...bit of a shame, never thought I'd say that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
S-Clarke Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Oh well. At least the game means nothing to us in the context. Who knows, he may pull of a blinder. But I doubt it.
Saint_clark Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Oh, f*cking hell. I'm all for supporting players etc. but lets face it this isn't going to go well. Please prove us all wrong Paolo...
Georgie Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 All out attack today please. No point trying to defend. Gods sake. Anyone know how long Boruc will be out for? I was positive this morning for a result today, funny how just one player can turn your prediction! Anyway c'mon Gazza.
ottery st mary Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Boruc injured:( Can only hope Gazza has a good game:scared: COYS We can do it....pleeeeeese:D
Saint_clark Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Just when you start thinking MAYBE we can get something.
Olallana Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Put Morgan in goal. He couldn't be any worse. [video=youtube;MHc7h5s-8F4]
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gf has just surprised me with tickets. She's a keeper, shame bout our keeper today. Coys
VectisSaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Quick update to the Prediction League, already thought we would lose heavily with Boruc. Glad now that I will not be watching.
igsey Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 No Aguero in their squad, at least. I think it's more likely Pompey win the FA Cup next season than we keep a clean sheet here.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Oh **** Ive hedged anyway. Got Man C on my coupon today
DuncanRG Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Nervous now, but still excited. There's going to be huge pressure from City to get the win, not helpful when we're throwing Gazza in again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Olallana Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazzanigga DID play at home against them, but they´re a different team home and away unfortunately...
James Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza in goal therefore we have lost. Only chance we have is if they don't have a shot on target. One of the things I am most looking forward to about the close season is replacing the worst keeper in the league as our no.2. Serious question, would Morgan in goal actually be worse? I don't think so.
Saints foreva Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazzaniga is by far the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League. It doesn't matter how well we play now, he's bound to **** up.
James Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazzaniga is by far the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League. It doesn't matter how well we play now, he's bound to **** up. He's awful. Embarrassing that a top 10 premier league club has him as back up. Every shot on target will be in the net.
Waterside.saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza must have had something to have got into the squad in the first place. Perhaps he'll surprise us all... in a good way?
Sheaf Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 What difference does that make, we have no-one else when Boruc is injured. Can't believe we didn't address that in January. We do. We have Kelvin Davis. He's currently injured.
InvictaSaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Jesus Christ - bet Gazzaniga is glad he has so much support on here. He must love being a Saints player. Why don't we just get a message to the Saints fans who've schlepped up to Manchester to turn round and come home; no point staying to watch is there? Whatever happened to supporting the team??
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 We won a few games this season with Gazza in goal
Saint_clark Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza must have had something to have got into the squad in the first place. Perhaps he'll surprise us all... in a good way? Potential. But when you're a Premier League club goalkeeper is a position you can't afford to wait in.
Saints foreva Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 We do. We have Kelvin Davis. He's currently injured. He's also crap at this level.
igsey Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 OptaJoe @OptaJoe 3m 37.5% - Paulo Gazzaniga has the lowest save percentage of any of the 36 goalkeepers to have played in the Premier League this season. Test.
Saint_clark Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 We won a few games this season with Gazza in goal Wasn't it something like 9 goals conceded from 11 shots on target?
cambsaint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Has it never occurred to anybody that Gazzaniga could have been intensively coached and has improved considerably. The comments on here are really going to help the lad's confidence. It's often better to keep your thoughts to yourself and not post them for the world to see. Let's make our comments after the match, not before.
Golac's Iron Gonads Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza! Yes! Will be good to see how he fares behind our first choice back four, and some added fun in reading how every goal conceded (if we do) was his fault.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Wasn't it something like 9 goals conceded from 11 shots on target? Something like that god help us!! Annoying as i had a good feeling about today. Amazing how one switch/change can change the whole outlook
mitch01 Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Gazza has all the ingredients to be a good keeper in the PL, but he has some mental barriers to overcome first. Hoping today is the first step in the right direction.

Special K Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Christ sake, give the lad a chance. Hope he has a blinder. Come on saints, no pressure, Citeh looked knackered last week. Show them what you're about.
Convict Colony Posted 5 April, 2014 Posted 5 April, 2014 Didn't we win 3-0 in his last game for us and if I remember we had a lot of injuries during that spell, positive attitude and all that.

Hoping today is the first step in the right direction. A lot like Bialkowski. A few bad performances and his career with us was finished.
