LainPain Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 He'll be up there, but I'd put Barkley ahead of him, more exciting. Does Ramsey still count as "Young"? I'm sure James Milner won it when he was 27.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 It'll be Hazard I suspect.

John Boy Saint Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 It will be that Januzai nipper, closely followed by Cleverley, then Sterling battling it out with Townsend, with Ross and Luke in amongst the also rans. Oh hang on, the media have chuff all to do with this vote so he could actually be in with a chance.

John Boy Saint Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Do you not think we get positive reports from the media? Of course we do, but you have to admit that Premiership is a 6 club league and Everton in the media, when you see the 2013 SPOTY nominantions for the Young personalty and that Januzai lad gets in the running off the back of one impressive goal then you can see my cynical view................................ I should have punctuated my post with a or a

moonraker Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 As this is the players vote I think he is in with real chance.

Minty Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 I love the fact that the PFA nomination form requires the team of the year to be 4-4-2... good to know they're keeping in touch with modern football!
Saint Garrett Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Luke must be up there, and played the most games. Almost think it should be a 'newcomer' or 'breakthrough' award rather than young player. Bit boring being a world class player. Lallana must be in the TOTY though. pangy Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Would bet it will be Cesar Azpilicueta he is 24 though does that count ? Suarez will be hands down winner of POTY
fish fingers Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Would bet it will be Cesar Azpilicueta he is 24 though does that count ? Suarez will be hands down winner of POTY Not if it's voted for by fellow players.
pangy Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Not if it's voted for by fellow players. I don't think he has done anything wrong this season,he is a scumbag granted but the mans talent is unquestionable and at times this season he has been unplayable.I don't think anyone has come close to him for form this season

igsey Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Shaw has been the most consistent but he's not exciting enough I imagine. Hazard will be on the main list surely? Or can they still win both? That's always odd. Januzaj would be a joke. He might end up being good but I've seen him a lot now and his form is patchy at best. Gets booked diving half the time too. Shaw, Sterling, Barkley, Lukaku all ahead of him IMO. Pretty sure Bale won both last year, so Hazard could do the same.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 27 March, 2014 Share Posted 27 March, 2014 Suarez will win the main prize, that's for sure.
Downthe36 Posted 28 March, 2014 Share Posted 28 March, 2014 Sturridge will get young player I would have thought, Hazard next most likely after that, I think it's much easier for an attacking player to win as their contribution is easier to quantify.
