Don't worry windows, you don;t need to justify your self about what happened back before racism was bad. I've seen ID. I know exactly how it went down.

Nothing to do with racism, football has become politically correct and asepticised, you can't say much at all now apparently apart from "Oh jolly nice goal sir".

I know what you mean Tim. That's why so many like to fill the gaps with EDL marches. There is an EDL fun day coming up soon at legoland if you are interested. See you there. I will be the one shouting "England for the English and the Japanese" next to the giant lego diving board.

Have you lot lost the plot??

If we let this continue the PC brigade will only allow us to say the ref is a banker and not let us question his heritage as we used to.

Give the world back to the people with some common sense at least.

Stopping the yids from calling themselves yids is bad enough but not being able to call a Spuds supporter a Nazi is beyond the pail.

Failing that swap the Milton Road for France and get your kicks there.

Did you know that in France many clubs ( or the councils and police districts in which they fall) actually ban away supporters ? Imagine that really. No St Etienne supporter will be allowed to (officially) go to the derby with Lyon this season, that's like stopping us going to Pompey. Don't think OM supporters were allowed at the PSG game either a couple of week back, happens all of the time.

I used to do a few away trips with PSG -lets just say the 'banter' was pretty 'colourful'.

By coincidence i bumped to one of the Warrens (the now sadly defunct pub in town) lads yesterday and we were reminiscing about the glorious late 70's and 80's and he commented on how we wouldnt get away with anything we did these days.

Very sad. As for the Yid comments its political correctness gone mad. Our leaders are taking this planet to hell in a handcart

meanwhile the working man is slowly being emasculated.

I agree with the "grass" comment earlier whoever reported him should be ashamed of themselves. Probably a couple of skinny jeaned ponces.

remember the warrens well and cringe now about some of the language used in those days but i,m glad a lot of things have moved on for the better unlike some of the dinosaurs .

WTF??? Only?

Why, any shred of evidence to go anywhere near supporting that statement?

Yes. We have a boring, middle-upper class support. Looking around the concourse and our end at Spurs on Sunday, it was full of families and oddballs, people you'd expect to see at the theatre, not in an away end at a football ground. No wonder our support has been w*nk vocally away from home this year in general.

And no other club could possibly have similar? This equates to evidence?! I despair at sweeping generalisations condemning our support as a quiet bunch of grasses...:mcinnes:

I didn't say that. Read again. I said at a 'club like Saints'.

Effing PC.

I remember my Grandad telling me about how his grandad used to ship over these dudes and chicks from Africa and make them do stuff around their house for them without paying them. They didn't always behave, so sometimes they would have to beat them a bit. It was alright though, coz before that they used to live in like mud huts and stuff and spoke funny. We basically civilised them.

Then one day people said this isn't right coz these people from Africa had feelings, and making them do these things, and beating them hurt their feelings or offended them or something.

Political correctness gone mad I tell yer.

How the f*ck is this relevant? Weirdo. What a waste of your time.

Of course it is relevant.

Just because something used to be common, or even acceptable, doesn't mean attempts to curb that behaviour are political correctness gone mad.

Why should a Jewish person have to listen to people mouthing off about WW2 or Hitler at a football match?

If you go to a football match just to scream dogs abuse at people, and then get annoyed if being offensive offends people, it's probably those people that are the weirdos.

Was the Spurs end even sold out? Why would this Spurs fan  decide to sit in the away end, but continue to sing Spurs songs? If this is the case, why didnt someone thump him?

If memory serves, I think that may be against the law as well as anti-semitic chanting.

But in reality, does anyone actually get offended by what some random bloke in the distance is shouting at a game of football?

So you find it odd that some might be offended by racist abuse, even if it's from one random bloke?
I find it odd that someone would be offended by what someone shouts at a game of football, to the point where they feel the need to report him for arrest, yes.

Not 'what' someone shouts but racial abuse plain and simple -not big nose or foreskin gags or chants about not buying rounds, but something more sinister.

Does it change things if incidents are reported to stewards or your own club rather than the OB?

With the possible exception of women who don't wax their growler, I can't remember the last time I was offended about anything. Some folks are racist, deal with it, innit.

Maybe it has nothing to do with being personally offended -the implication that you're somehow screamish or overly sensitive. Maybe its just wrong.

More sinister? Like what? Do any normal, sensible, grown up people genuinely get worked up and take things seriously that get shouted in football grounds? They're full of a load of old rubbish. What is this person supposed to have done? Started a rally of black shirts to march down to Stamford Hill after the game?

No, I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm saying I find it odd.

And like I said, IMO it depends on what is being shouted (and who hears it).

If genuinely hateful Semitic abuse is being shouted then I might expect a Jewish person in the vicinity to be offended by it. I wouldn't be offended, probably because I'm not Jewish. But I'd struggle to find it odd that others might. Same for genuine racist abuse too. That's just my opinion though.

Agree- depends on what is being shouted, though you dont necessarily have to be jewish, black, muslim or whatever to find genuine abuse where it exists wrong.

I'm anti Israeli politics and politicians and I probably more pro Palestinian . But this does not make me anti Semitic . But in some folks minds it is seen as being anti Jewish .

There is too much political correctness about . Until whoever appears in court we will not know what he/she actually said . If it was pure racist bile they deserve everything the court hands out
