Maybe a slight relevance to us and our GK hunt - Celtic are about to wrap up the free transfer of Craig Gordon. Gordon in, Foster out?

 

That'll do. I'm still hopeful we might get some news from Guan / K.Billy about this rumoured GK...

What's become of us looking for a new goalkeeper? Goalkeeper was Poortviet's first priority and we end up with Forecast.

I like Ben Foster. Thought he played really well in England's last game. Confident and doesn't panic,

 

I'd loved to see us paying out a small sum to bring Andrew Surman back to his spiritual home. He's been out in limbo for far to long.

I think you meant FORSTER out. I prefer FOSTER as in Ben FOSTER. Don't think much of Forster.

Sky Sources: @dundeeunitedfc reject two bids from @whufc_official for left back Andy Robertson. Second bid understood to be £1.5M

 

He looks class and would be a steal for anything under 3 or 4m.

 

WH also meeting Nice today for talks re Kolo.

 

Agree about Robertson from what I've read.

 

Dundee Utd have sold Ryan Gauld , the 'mini Messi' to Sporting Lisbon today for £3m. That seems to be the threshold for Robertson I'd suspect.

 

Whether we are interested in Robertson, or Kolo, fact remains we need to move quickly for either to happen.

 

Idle speculation on my part, but I suspect we'll sign neither and have another target in mind.

How satisfying it would be to hijack their deal. Unlikely, but we have landed Spurs targets before.

Fraser Forster would be quality. However I think he's probably got better places to go to.

 

Where? All 7 clubs above us in the Premier League last season have keepers he is unlikely dislodge to be first choice in 2014/15.

Arsenal need competition and I can't imagine Lloris will want to stay outside the Champions League much longer. May well go abroad too.

Depends on Lloris's status I'd think. Not much chatter about that just now but I did hear that he was looking to go CL this summer, PSG being favourites followed by Monaco if they can't get Valdes.

Huntelaar is angling at a move to England, apparently. Speculation linking him to Arsenal and (inevitably) Liverpool. Would be a terrific signing even at 30 years old. Has Ronald worked with him previously?

Sky sources understand that West Ham United have seen their opening bid for Norwich City defender Martin Olsson rejected by the Canaries. Sam Allardyce has been a long-term fan of the 26-year-old Sweden international since their time together at Blackburn Rovers. A number of other clubs, including West Brom, are also looking closely at Olsson.

I imagined this in my head & he didn't want to come but i tempted him him with v.generous contract & he scored loads of goals for sfc & we won fa cup

More a HCDAJFU than a rumour. I know he has skate history, but as a freebee he would be a good addition to the squad, IMHO.

The West Ham left back search (via playing spin the bottle) has now landed on Aaron Cresswell.

 

Sky sources understand that Ipswich defender Aaron Cresswell is having a medical at West Ham ahead of a proposed move to the Premier League club, with Sam Allardyce quickly moving on to new targets after seeing an offer for Norwich's Martin Olsson rejected.

If this truly is the case maybe they're looking at Clyne being able to move across to cover should he get injured. Could be hard to keep both him and Chambers happy otherwise.

 

Haven't you heard, Clyne is off to Arsenal...
