Saint Charlie Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 They actually did it - That's some serious coin for him. Sky Sports sources understand that Robert Snodgrass has joined Hull City from Norwich, for a fee reportedly in the region of £7million. We'll have more on this breaking news shortly. 16m on Snodgrass and Livermore combined shows the perils of having money to spend and wasting it.
DuncanRG Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Jake Livermore was a very good signing for Hull, not so sure about Snodgrass. But it does show they mean business financially.

Yeah he is a solid midfielder but shows I guess that Morgan is worth easily double that and a bit more. Hull are a decent enough team, and are building a bit of strength in depth gradually. Think they might push to 9th or 10th.
TwoPints Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Hopefully we'll have this all done and dusted tomorrow: http:// http://www.football-oranje.com/southampton-close-on-twente-midfielder/
angelman Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Both are very expensive, but then, at the same time they're low risk. Both will perform alright in the premier league. Snodgrass grabs a few goals. They're signing players who'll no doubt keep them up again, so becomes worth it. Sadly these fees have just become the norm. Maybe it is a question of them making a great team without superstars. I like Bruce and think he is a good manager and will do well next season.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Hopefully we'll have this all done and dusted tomorrow: http://www.football-oranje.com/southampton-close-on-twente-midfielder/ Why do you think tomorrow?
TwoPints Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Why do you think tomorrow? Can't see it happening today.

Matthew Le Tissier Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 You will need to wait untill the relevant teams get knocked out of the World Cup before the signings already done will be made public , bit like the shaw situation. I'll leave it to you to work out the players !

I'll leave it to you to work out the players ! Neymar, Messi and Robben.....well I´ll admit they´re decent signings... (But more realistically it would be really nice with a few of Jetro Willems, Clasie, Xhaka, Drmic, Depay, Wijnaldum....)

Batman Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 No Belgium players take your fancy then hazard, vertonghen, witsel, mertens, lukaku yes
Olallana Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 haha tease. Actually, I found it hardest to find any interesting reachable players from Belgium, could find at least someone in all other remaining squads...
Saint Charlie Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 No one else? Aldweireld? Pretty much the only one who is possibly attainable. Apart from van Buyten.
Olallana Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 or have we swooped in and gotten Origi just to p*ss scouters off
Batman Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 No one else? vermaelen, miralles, dembele, de bryne, alderwield other than that, no thanks
CityRanger Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 http://m.fifa.com/worldcup/teams/team=43935/index.html Scroll down for squad list...
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Apparently part of the utd deal was first refusal on 1 of 2 players , not sure if any weight in the rumour but obviously hernandes as been mentioned for ages but poch still wanting him. And felaini lol

And felaini lol who is it then? why dont you just say, its only a rumour
Saint Charlie Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 LOL. So we won't be signing anyone from the Belgium team then.
CityRanger Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Fellaini? Good shout, proven in the Prem. Lots of numpties would be on his back straight away though ala Peter Crouch (perceived as damaged goods).
ratio_decidendi Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Fellaini is 13/2 to go to Southampton. Surely not? http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/marouane-fellaini/next-club
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 All I'm saying is don't rule out felaini or Hernandez signing
angelman Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 I remember Pochy's first home game against Everton. Fellaini was the difference. A great player in my mind. Not sure whose hair annoys me the most - his or AL's?
Batman Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 fellaini would be a good addition..really good he was quality for everton as an attacking midfielder as holding midfielder, like united try to use him as, he was gash
Wiggles31 Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Fellani would be a brilliant signing. Can't see it.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 When you got 80 million to spend and one if The best facilities in the world anything is possible Apparently market traders in st Mary's have ordered the wigs already . One would be great but IDE like to see the pea playing off falaini, also depends on utd signings I believe
Saint_Abroad Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Not sure whose hair annoys me the most - his or AL's? If you can stand next to that Belgian Bush on his head and not slam your fist through his cerebral cortex, you're strong.
Bentley Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 BBC Radio Lancashire apparently reporting Burnley has given Ings permission to speak to Newcastle and Saints. Fee about 9M
TwoPints Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Please god not hernandez Really, I think Hernandez would be a great signing.
Heisenberg Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Really, I think Hernandez would be a great signing. Ignore Smirking. He thinks Welbeck is the answer
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Really, I think Hernandez would be a great signing. I think he is vastly overated, will be expensive and wouldnt suit the system personally
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Ignore Smirking. He thinks Welbeck is the answer Glasgow, you'll always be a prize cock
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Hernandez and Fellaini would both be excellent signings.
Goatboy Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Ignore Smirking. He thinks Welbeck is the answer Is the question who has a s**t haircut?
ratio_decidendi Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 Is the question who has a s**t haircut? Nope, that's Fellaini!
SuperSAINT Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 BBC Radio Lancashire apparently reporting Burnley has given Ings permission to speak to Newcastle and Saints. Fee about 9M Imagine their forums would be in meltdown if this is true.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 30 June, 2014 Posted 30 June, 2014 IDE rather Hernandez than gaylicker. He isn't going to cut it I'm afraid.
