First sighting here Pap. One on the right, in a bar in the general St Mary's area. Looks like he did meet up with Bletch after all.

 

 

What does it mean if, after staring at this picture for a long time, you get a little tingle below the waist?

pap had fainted and I, eschewing Vinnie Jones' advice, was providing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

 

Of course someone has rotated the image through 90 degrees, and now I look like I'm sucking pap's face off.

Thought bletch might be along to check you punctuation but looks like you are actually correct.

 

I think "actually correct" might be tautological, but I'll defer to Fowllyd's brother for an adjudication.

 

I think he'd probably be more concerned with the use of 'like' rather than 'as if' (after he'd corrected the bits your Bletchness has already done, of course).

 

'Actually' has a certain quality, especially to those of us who remember Spike Milligan's interpretation of Beachcomber from the 70s (or maybe the 60s - I was pretty young when it was on TV, but obviously not so young that I haven't remembered it). If Vectis Saint ever ventures on here I'm sure he'll recall it.
