so22saint Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 I'm looking forward to next season with 15 new players to replace everybody that's leaving
SFC_1992 Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 5m for Zlatan Jnr......jog on! Sam said on twitter last night he is going nowhere! alot of our young players have wise heads on young shoulders. It's they best place to be for young talent they all know it.
trousers Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 I've got a cracking idea for a catch all summer 2014 transfer rumours thread. Not sure if it'll catch on though...
Goatboy Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 I've got a cracking idea for a catch all summer 2014 transfer rumours thread. Not sure if it'll catch on though... True. I don't think I, or Glasgow's fingers, can stand a whole summer of unsubstantiated nonsense regarding our crisis club.
OldNick Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Well I suppose if he can'tcan't post Pompey transfer rumours on here anymore he has to make do with saints related ones
Pancake Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Sam said on twitter last night he is going nowhere!. Did he? https://twitter.com/SamGallagher40
Bearsy Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 roll up roll up everything must go! Can't see mourinho giving game time to an 18yo striker tho. Spose he'll find himself loaned out to Birmingham or something.
Gingeletiss Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Perhaps a swap for their own young striker that they keep loaning out.....Romelu Lukaku
austsaint Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Perhaps a swap for their own young striker that they keep loaning out.....Romelu Lukaku Quite right - why would they be seeking out young Sam when they already have a world class striker (who is not much older) out on loan.
Goatboy Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Quite right - why would they be seeking out young Sam when they already have a world class striker (who is not much older) out on loan. To stop anyone else having him? Loan him out to score against their title rivals? Seems to be working for them so far. Cheats.
Tom28 Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Are we seriously starting a new thread everytime some newspaper with column inches to fill in the last 15 mins before they go to copy makes up some bull**** story. This, like Shaw, like Lallana, like Chambers, like Ward-Prowse, like Lovren, like JRod, like Morgan, like Cork, like Wanyama, like Clyne, is completely made up. IGNORE!
angelman Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 I'm rather hoping that these young players realise that the grass is not always greener on the other side. They are young, they are good, but the clubs that are interested in them have the resources to buy better and more experienced players. They may be in the CL but how many of the young will actually get into the team? The Ox has, but that was about it to start off with. Bale obviously did but at one stage it was touch and go. I sometimes feel that these bigger clubs buy players who show potential in order that their rivals don't get their hands on them.
Bearsy Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 I'm rather hoping that these young players realise that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Adam Lallana has got more winner's medals than Walcott, Bale + Oxlaide-Chamberlain put together.
