Saint_Tony Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Don't know if it's been mentioned.I noticed there's a sale on in the online store, half price on home and away shirts plus reductions on most of the training gear. Bit annoying for those who forked out £50 for a shirt. I doubt many on here buy club merchandise, but I'm interested as to whether this ever happened whilst Cortese was in charge? can only remember shirts going cheap last when we had the Flybe sponsor. So is this move the influence of the new chairman?
pap Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 In the rest of the retail world, prices come down when a new model is going to be introduced. Probably just trying to clear stock.
Pancake Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 I'll be glad to see the back of this years kit...
pap Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Turns out I'm not as glad as first suspected. Good job.

So is this move the influence of the new chairman? We didn't sell anything off under Cortese for the last 2 seasons, with the exception of a 10% reduction in the yellow kit on promotion from the Championship - and they ended up using that kit in the Prem the year after anyway!
DuncanRG Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Am I right in saying that this often happens before a club switches kit supplier? I seem to remember we had a sale last year but not the few years before that. Some clubs do it every year, of course.
stanthemanfairoak Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 [;I'll be glad to see the back of this years kit... RED & WHITE STRIPES it is then ? no more silly coloured shirts

Hatch Posted 19 March, 2014 Posted 19 March, 2014 going by the Liverpool change kits, I wouldn't go within a trillion miles of warrior shirts. We would end up with a kit like this
