Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 I posted this before a few months back and it was quite entertaining to see the opinions of the football for the day! For those of us without Sky!! Looking forward to this one!
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Cannot wait, seen that game in full. Just the take on the other games as well. What a goal by Silva! Wow!
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Get yourself ready for identical defending errors in 90 seconds!
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Wow that was close to a second. What happens in that case, if the ball was over the line, does a team contest it straight away? What happens if play continues?
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 1st penalty shout, no pen, the 2nd one penalty!
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Nobody appealed for the second which suggests it wasn't. Definite sending off for Kompany though, needed a full back to speed in (a la Clyne last week for Lovren's challenge)
SaintsAhoy Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing Dejan's nuts being stamped on. I never thought I would post such a sentence
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Hull seem to live in the centre of controversy at the moment!
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing Dejan's nuts being stamped on. I never thought I would post such a sentence Looked good live mate
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Nobody appealed for the second which suggests it wasn't. Definite sending off for Kompany though, needed a full back to speed in (a la Clyne last week for Lovren's challenge) No it does not, players know sod all. 100% penalty. I would have given that on a Sunday morning, in the youth league.
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Wouldn't have put that game first though... ooh it's Chelsea's implosion on now!
SaintsAhoy Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Looked good live mate Was there but too far away to see what happened. Hope he's OK and remains able to sire many mini-Lovrens for our youth team
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 No it does not, players know sod all. 100% penalty. I would have given that on a Sunday morning, in the youth league. Collymore was saying about technology for all debatable decisions on Call Collymore. Makes me wonder whether that would be overload on the techy front. Harsh red for Willian there IMO...
Toon Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Horror tackle by Ramires and correct to send him off, but not sure the ref had a clue until Villa players went mental. Foy had a shocking game.
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Definite red for Ramires. Mourinhos was a lol moment. I didn't even realise Albrighton still played for Villa...
Saint_clark Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Wow that was close to a second. What happens in that case, if the ball was over the line, does a team contest it straight away? What happens if play continues? Goal line technology? There's no appealing, it's not like tennis. The referee is told instantly via a device on his wrist if it's a goal or not, if it's not over the line then he doesn't stop play. There's no point in players appealing anymore as if it is over it'll be given every time.
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 ...and Mulumbu! Good comeback from WBA. Things very interesting at the bottom after today's games.
Toon Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Pepe Mel proving why Poch is right to use a translator.
St Chalet Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Pepe Mel proving why Poch is right to use a translator. Just thinking that!
tedmaul Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Definite red for Ramires. Mourinhos was a lol moment. I didn't even realise Albrighton still played for Villa... I don't know if anyone listens to 5live? But Pat Murphy's post match interview with Mourinho is just amazing. For context Pat Murphy ... Erudite, fearless, doesn't care about his career etc. He's getting on now but best in the business.
Monk Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Pepe Mel proving why Poch is right to use a translator. Just thinking that! Que?
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 I'd eat a crushed Lovren testes to have Lukaku and Miralles at SMS. Cracking players. Some good saves from Marshall.
Toon Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Que? Mel's English is so poor it renders the interview pointless. Would rather him use a translator so we can hear something of substance.
Monk Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Marshall has had a fantastic season so far. I believe he is the highest shot stopper? Some interesting stats here; http://www.thescore.com/epl/goalie_splits/shots_faced
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 They've been unlucky Cardiff. Still think they have the players to get out of it but their points tally is telling.
Saint Garrett Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 They've been unlucky Cardiff. Still think they have the players to get out of it but their points tally is telling. Will certainly be a tough game when they come to SMS.
Monk Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Mel's English is so poor it renders the interview pointless. Would rather him use a translator so we can hear something of substance. Cheers Toon.
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 All the talk about JRod and Lambert for England, and Savage chirps in with Carroll. C***. :-) Would Ward-Prowse have been sent off for the pull on Elmander had Elmander not scored? Looked like a pull...
Grey Crab Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Yeh, but he's Welsh so he just wants to see England lose. I'd take Andy Carroll if I wanted England to fail.
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 FWIW I'd rather take Lambert over JRod but on form it'd be the other way round. I wonder if there's room for both, but I guess that's for another thread. Oh look, Carroll scored a header. England material ISO. (In savages opinion.)
Dr Who? Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 I think they always have someone to give a balanced view. It is the bbc after all.
waggy Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Purely on his ability to take a penalty..... gotta be SRL
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Ha, Pardew watching from a hotel. Wonder if he's in the bar...
SNSUN Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 That goal would've been given without technology. Looked in to me.
Dr Who? Posted 16 March, 2014 Author Posted 16 March, 2014 I bet the Newcastle web is on meltdown..... We need a new keeper.... Blah blah blah!
Dr Who? Posted 16 March, 2014 Author Posted 16 March, 2014 That goal would've been given without technology. Looked in to me. Most fans still think that is a goal, not knowing the whole ball rule, same as the players not knowing the offside rule when the goalkeeper is ahead of the ball.
Toon Saint Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 What has happened to Papis Cisse? A shadow of the player he was two seasons ago.
shurlock Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Good to see Bunsen Honeydew aka Felix Magath get his first win - want more teams dragged into the dogfight.
SNSUN Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 What has happened to Papis Cisse? A shadow of the player he was two seasons ago. He was better with Ba next to him.
