Toadhall Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Who's the best team you have seen at SMS this season? I know there are a few games to go but TBH it has to be Chelsea - took us apart in the 2nd half.
S-Clarke Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Liverpool for me. Norwich by far the worst, how we let that trash back into it is beyond me.

I know there are a few games to go but TBH it has to be Chelsea - took us apart in the 2nd half. Chelsea, followed by Liverpool. The only team to look a cut above us (including away games) are Chelsea.
Toadhall Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Liverpool for me. Norwich by far the worst, how we let that trash back into it is beyond me. It happens - did you think we would draw?
benjii Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea by far. Take Suarez out of Liverpool and they're no better than us.
View From The Top Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea & Liverpool have been head & shoulders above the rest at SMS this season.
Toadhall Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Author Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea by far. Take Suarez out of Liverpool and they're no better than us. That's how I see it. I came away from the Liverpool game thinking I've just witnessed a true world class player. Chelsea - a team that went up a gear.
SaintSteve Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea, followed by Liverpool. The only team to look a cut above us (including away games) are Chelsea. Absolutely, Chelsea are the only team that have outplayed us.
Saint Garrett Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea and Liverpool were excellent. City were poor, spurs were a bit lucky. Arsenal we should have beaten. Rest still to play against. Fulham and Norwich by far the worst.
Berkshire Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea and Liverpool were excellent. City were poor, spurs were a bit lucky. Arsenal we should have beaten. Rest still to play against. Fulham and Norwich by far the worst. Yup. West Brom up there with the worst as well.
Saints foreva Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea. Didn't think Liverpool were that great, we were the better side in the first half and gave up in the second half.
Goatboy Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Yup. West Brom up there with the worst as well. Yep. Foster wasting time after five minutes. Hilarious.
Dr. Kucho Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Fulham were poor, how we only ended up scoring 2 goals.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Thought the Chelsea and Liverpool games were similar, where we were unfortunate not to be leading at half time but as soon as their second goals went in, they played us off the park.
Downthe36 Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea by a mile. We more than matched Liverpool for huge amounts of the game, I never fancied getting anything during the Chelsea match.
Rasiak-9- Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea are the only team we've lost to where I've been happy to more-or-less shrug my shoulders after the game having been simply beaten by a better team. There isn't a single other team in the league in which I felt we couldn't at least contest the match.
Bailey Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Liverpool for me. Clinical & professional display. Chelsea a close second.
dickyhale Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Liverpool for me.(did not see the Chelsea game) Norwich by far the worse closely followed by Fulham..........
Bucks Saint Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea for sheer power and class of subs etc. liverpool 2nd.
Graffito Posted 15 March, 2014 Posted 15 March, 2014 Chelsea. Probably most vocal support too, maybe Palace.
JackanorySFC Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Chelsea by a long way. Liverpool good, but Suarez the man difference. Have to doff my cap to Swansea, played brilliantly at SMS and we worked hard for the 3 points. Worst Norwich or Fulham Luckiest/ most rope a dope deffo Villa. Spurs not far behind. Most boring, West Ham. Came for nil nil and got it, well done. If that's the future of football say goodbye to TV money,
Crazy Diamond Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Best side = Chelsea Worst side = Fulham. This. Norwich run Fulham a close second.
SuperMikey Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Chelsea and Liverpool, definitely. We matched Liverpool in the first half but they got into their stride second half and were absolutely quality. Chelsea are unplayable.
david in sweden Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Liverpool for me. Norwich by far the worst, how we let that trash back into it is beyond me. I'd agree with the Liverpool assessment, and maybe Norwich, too ..although Hull " Tigers " were pretty tame, I thought. The luckiest side to come to SMS must be Aston Villa. We had 77% of the possession, 21 shots to 6 ...and then gifted them the game.
ant Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Chelsea showed the difference it makes to have two squads worth of PL-quality players; pulled us apart good and proper in that second half. As mentioned above, their fans were by far the loudest this season too. Wasn't overly impressed with Liverpool, Suarez aside. Sturridge wasn't at his best and I wouldn't say any of the rest of their team was streets ahead of our lot.
Dr Who? Posted 16 March, 2014 Posted 16 March, 2014 Defiantly Southampton for me, we are pretty good. Best away team Norwich, worse away team Norwich. I have only been to one game!
