Griffo Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 We sold out at Chelsea this year mate, we were in the top 3 at the time though. We only took the reduced allocation both times though. I meant sell out as in selling out the full allocation. Not surprising given the prices and kick off times at Chelsea both times. I'd like to think we're not all that far off selling Spurs out. It's a bit annoying they never give us any indication on the allocations we've taken and how many we've sold. Shouldn't be too hard to do..

Really surprised its not sold out - as a non season ticket holder its the first time I've been able to get a seat in the away end for a London league match since we got back in the Prem even with it being on TV and at a bad time & day its a red letter day for me........
Saint Fan CaM Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 Injuries are not doing us any favours and the squad is once again looking extremely thin. I think they'll be desperate for a win and at home they'll be too much for us IMO - 2-0.

I think they'll be desperate for a win and at home they'll be too much for us IMO - 2-0. Why is our squad looking thin now? Looks pretty much full strength now, apart from Wanyama - I assume that's still up in the air?
Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 What will happen when they sing our song at the same time that we sing our song? Infuriates me SOOOO much that they have so little imagination that not content with taking Bale, Richards, Hoddle, Redknapp etc they have to take that too. I hope we smash them, the north London yobbos. And, breathe. Same as what always happens. We take it over sing OWTS and then they shut up. Was silent there last season anyway. We outsung them all game.
adrian lord Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 That bloke who manages Spurs has lost the dressing room and is only care taking for the new guy in the summer. We ought to capitalise....but...
Dalek2003 Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 Why is our squad looking thin now? Looks pretty much full strength now, apart from Wanyama - I assume that's still up in the air? Cork out, possibly Lovren. Possibly Gaston.
Matthew Le God Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 (edited) Injuries are not doing us any favours and the squad is once again looking extremely thin. Cork out, possibly Lovren. Possibly Gaston. Gaston had cramp, he should really be fine for a game 8 days later. Lovren had a kick in the Guly's, the match video shows his testicles weren't stood on as Pochettino said. Edited 17 March, 2014 by Matthew Le God
Sour Mash Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 I expect Ramirez and Lovren to be recovered by then. Wanyama was 'doubtful' for the Norwich game, if he's back that makes us near enough full strength.
suewhistle Posted 17 March, 2014 Posted 17 March, 2014 Really surprised its not sold out - Wouldn't mind a day out in The Smoke myself, but Sunday afternoon means other commitments: I won't even be able to go down the pub to watch, and I'm sure it's the same for many others.
Bearsy Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 i don't think we have to worry too much bout lovren, cos nutsacks have amazing restorative powers. One time i was grooming my nutsack with an electric razor and the loose skin of my ballbag bunched up past the guide and mangled itself in the mechanism. It was an extremely traumatic + bloody experience! I thought i would be out of action for 6-8 weeks however i had not counted on the amazing restorative powers of nutsacks. Within mere hours the wounds were healed with barely a scab to show for it! This demonstrates the amazing restorative powers of nutsacks. pictures available on request

I think this just goes to prove that you're an alien rather than a bear. Or perhaps an alien bear. With a scarred nutsack....it's all becoming clear now.

Goatboy Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 You didn't come across to me as the manscaping type. Gone down in my estimation. He's a bear. If he doesn't groom there will be wildlife in his man garden.
Bearsy Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 You didn't come across to me as the manscaping type. Gone down in my estimation. a bit of light grooming is essential IMO! I mean I'm not going to extremes, I'm not going bald or doing patterns, but neatness in these matters is by-word. I would consider it v.bad manners to point my groin into a bird's face if it resembled birds nest or pap's morning barnet. Also, a short + neatly trimmed bush creates illusion of additional shaft length. This is important to me, i have always wanted additional shaft length.
Chewy Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Fair enough, I just thought bears were the eats, shoots, leaves types. Didn't cross my mind for one second that you'd care about what the female was thinking during mating season. Shows how little I know.

Kingsbridge Saint Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 They are a very inconsistent side. If both sides play well they should win it, would take a point, but we could nick all 3 if the **** Spurs turns up.
Draino76 Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 I was there when we won and godlike got the sack. Of there's two tickets... Me go. Hitler.... Every time I try and type Hoddle on my phone, this is what I got.

DT Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Somebody should make sure Pochettino isn't left alone at White Hart Lane or Daniel Levy might wave his clear framed glasses at him, clutching a pen and a piece of paper. Rumours surfacing about him being replacement for Sherwood again (probably unsubtly put out there by Levy)

Rumours surfacing about him being replacement for Sherwood again (probably unsubtly put out there by Levy) Pfff last week he was going to Marseille, he's just being linked with every underperforming side on the planet. Think he might actually stay with us, we'll need to up his pay though, 20K a week won't keep him here for long.
hasper57saint Posted 18 March, 2014 Posted 18 March, 2014 Anthony Taylor will be ref. Tonys a mate of mine (well he's got the same name) Now whether he's a distant cousin or not doesen't matter. He 'll let those Spuds get mashed!
simo Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Spurs are ravaged with injuries for tonight's game hope they still are Sunday!
Window Cleaner Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Spurs are ravaged with injuries for tonight's game hope they still are Sunday! They'll all be fit for Sunday...just wait and see.
fez Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 They're already one down against Benfica. As the BBC puts it, "Eduardo Salvio breezes past Aaron Lennon, who looks like he is set in concrete"
CumbrianSaint Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Spurs are a bag of rubbish tonight Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Shroppie Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 2 1 up now. One more and extra time would be good.
ottery st mary Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Almost...two good chances at the end and then give away a penalty. 2-2.
igsey Posted 20 March, 2014 Posted 20 March, 2014 Nice demoralising defeat for them. Any news on our injuries?
USA SaintsFan Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26661245 Lawro predicts us to win! Usually not the best sign. IMO this has draw written all over it.

Fan The Flames Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 I'm slowly forming the opinion that Sherwood is a bit of a cock, I remember not liking him much as a player. Going on about the next team to play us will be really scared and going on about the Benfinca manager sweating.

trousers Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Mauricio Pochettino says @VictorWanyama and @jackcork1 both remain doubtful for Sunday's game. Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Pochettino also reveals that Morgan Schneiderlin and Guly do Prado are injury concerns, while @gasramirez10 is being assessed. #saintsfc
Saint Rees Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 We're going to get bullied in midfield if VW, JC and MS are all out!
Saint_Tony Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 Yeah, can't see us having any chance with those 3 out. We won't be able to control midfield with the likes of Ward Prowse playing. Very disappointing news if true as I thought we had a good chance to win.
Goatboy Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 Jeezus. We may as well not bother turning up eh? Get a grip you bunch of whining fannies. *not you Mr trousers.
trousers Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Mauricio Pochettino: “This is a very good chance to bring in young players and give them the experience of facing a big team.” #saintsfc
trousers Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 So, we're possibly looking at something like this then? Boruc Chambers - Fonte - Lovren - Shaw Reed - JWP Davis - Lallana - JRod Lambert Subs: Gazza, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Sinclair, McQueen, Gallagher (bound to be at least one available senior player I've forgotten about though)
Pancake Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 Have a horrible feeling we will see 442 this weekend...

Saint Garrett Posted 21 March, 2014 Posted 21 March, 2014 It'll be same system as always. Clyne at RB for me.
