Shame, I know his old fella and was hoping he'd make the first team and boost my itk credentials. His dad was a really good youth player that never made it, one of the best around until about 16.I don't think some people realise just how good you have to be to make it at the top of the game.

Yeah this. Corby Moore came through the SFC academy and is now playing in the NASL (the league below the MLS (that a lot of non-Americans dismiss as a joke league)). Indy Eleven are currently bottom of the NASL:

Still a damn sight better than most of us will ever do - but to make it to anywhere near the top of the game? Like you say - that's hard.

We go to the Gulf Coast most years (Anna Marie Island) & watch Tampa Bay Rowdies in the NASL. The standard is pretty poor, but always enjoy the ladies in bikinis serving ice cold beer!!

Development Squad player Corby Moore has left Saints to join American team Indy Eleven on a two year contract: http://www.indyeleven.com/news/detail/uuid/fmkhtf1gw3kp1x4kksg9hdozg/youngsters-moore-spencer-add-attacking-talent#.UyIeBpXiteV

some "news " gets circulated around and around and suddenly re-emerges as the latest.

I'm absolutely sure that SFC published this as " a done deal" before the end of last season.

Good for them. Because I reported it as news in March.
