Saint_clark Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 Just booked a ticket for the Newcastle home game online and for one thing there is a new seat selection system which seems pretty neat, but also when it came to confirm payment there was only a £1 fee for postage - no £1.50 fee per ticket. How long has this been like that?

JackanorySFC Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 Massive improvement. Took me a minute to work out there are only 1060 seats left for Saturday's game so looks like a sell out (or very close to it). Also, and this was my biggest bugbear with the online ticket site, you can actually choose seats in block 2!!!! Bizarrely before you could only view blocks 1 & 3, a pain for a block 2 ST holder like me that needs extras near me for mates/ family etc. Top effort Saints! stevegrant Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 The ticket system was upgraded a matter of days after Cortese left - difficult to tell whether there is any link there, I guess it depends on whether the contract between SFC and the software provider included updates or whether they were a chargeable extra. The booking fee seems to be a bit hit-and-miss. For some away games, I've not had to pay one, but for others I have. I suspect it's a case of whoever in the ticket office sets up the "event" within the system forgetting to add the fees occasionally.
trousers Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 Being able to see how many seats are left in each block at a glance is a boon
M271 Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 I bought 2 tickets for the Newcastle game last night online and had a £2 added cost for 'fees and tax', what tax?
Saint Garrett Posted 13 March, 2014 Share Posted 13 March, 2014 Spurs and city away tickets held a £1 per ticket "fee", however think It may have been palace away, no booking fee
Lord Duckhunter Posted 14 March, 2014 Share Posted 14 March, 2014 Spurs and city away tickets held a £1 per ticket "fee", however think It may have been palace away, no booking fee I've been to 8, Wba and palace no booking fee, Liverpool, Norwich, man utd, arsenal, Everton and Fulham had one. Strange, I just assumed somebody had cocked up and not loaded it onto website.
