trousers Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 I see that the club's parent company changed name from 'DWSL 613 Limited' to 'St Mary's Group Limited' on the 3rd March. No idea how significant that is... (apologies if already posted)
Panda Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 Use of the term 'group' is interesting? Back to the days of maximising the brand by branching out into radio stations, conference catering, credit cards, etc, etc? Sound idea provided they make money not lose money like they did last time.

jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 Perhaps KL wanted to completely remove all traces of Cortese. I seem to recall Cortese and Markus were the directors of that company.
stevegrant Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 Surprised it's taken them so long to do that - I know it's a trivial matter in the grand scheme of things, but the original name was just a sequential "placeholder" name used by the law firm ML appointed to oversee the takeover. It had absolutely no relevance to anything, really.

Minty Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 Nice acknowledgement of our origins IMO, using 'St Mary's'.
VectisSaint Posted 12 March, 2014 Posted 12 March, 2014 Sad day, the passing of 'DWSL 613'. I for one will miss it, it had a nice ring about it. I guess this is progress, seems we have no respect for our history.
