Wade Garrett Posted 9 March, 2014 Posted 9 March, 2014 Half time, checking on other scores, checking bets. And funnily enough I'm actually able to do more than 1 thing at a time other than dedicate 100% of my attention at all times to the game in play. Are you a lady?
The Kraken Posted 9 March, 2014 Posted 9 March, 2014 My 4g connection always works in SMS!! I can't even get texts or make/receive calls, which is a minor pain when various friends are in attendance but scattered around the ground. But then I'm trundling along on 3G in any case. I guess the hardware architecture is pretty expensive, but I'm slightly surprised more clubs haven't got matchday wireless systems and running already. The potential for teaming arrangements with online bookies would in itself make a fairly attractive proposition, I'd have thought.
Wade Garrett Posted 9 March, 2014 Posted 9 March, 2014 Are you stuck in the 80s? I have very fond memories of the 80s.

You think that for all if the week it's hardly used then for 2 hours you've tens of thousands of people wanting to connect, accessing betting site, streaming video etc the existing wireless solutions weren't dynamic or scalable enough to cope. The clubs would have to spend a fortune of upgrading their LAN and have hundreds of access points in the stadium to cater for 30000 users when for 95% of the time it's hardly used. Most of the major vendors have developed solutions now though so every club will have it soon.

EBS1980 Posted 9 March, 2014 Posted 9 March, 2014 The best advice I can give you is; 1) get yourself laid 2) Have a **** 3) Cold shower. Its a freaking football forum you spanner I'm fine thanks. I just don't like attention seeking threads. This was started this morning and yet nobody is still any the wiser and u still haven't told anyone. I assume it isn't anything interesting otherwise u would share and let people discuss it.
