Lambert1979 Posted 2 March, 2014 Share Posted 2 March, 2014 Can somebody please help? Because sunderland lost to city today, and city are still in the fa cup would we still have won the fa cup if we'd beat sunderland? As a newbie I'm still struggling with the forum rules

As a newbie I'm still struggling with the forum rules bet Sunderland still had a great day out despite the result... that's the minimum I wanted (a day out at Wembley), and when you consider Sunderland are playing Hull in the quarterfinals, we had such a good chance of getting to the semis at least. though oh well, what's happened has happened. Sour Mash Posted 2 March, 2014 Share Posted 2 March, 2014 Can somebody please help? Because sunderland lost to city today, and city are still in the fa cup would we still have won the fa cup if we'd beat sunderland? As a newbie I'm still struggling with the forum rules Happy to help a newbie out - no-one suggested that trying our best to beat Sunderland would have resulted in us winning the FA Cup. Glad to be of help.

If we can improve our form we still have a chance of being part of '7th heaven day' on the last day of the season. With Newcastle away at Liverpool that day it could be a straight winner takes all play off between us and Man United for that glorious 7th spot giving Sky one of its most exciting finish to a premier league season in its history. nta786 Posted 2 March, 2014 Share Posted 2 March, 2014 The minimum you wanted was a cup final? Jesus christ. They're quite difficult to get you know.. A day out at wembley mate (not neccessarily a cup final) ... So a semifinal appaearance at least... That certainly looked possible before the Sunderland game... Obviously had we gone through and we got a team like Man City/Arsenal in the quarters, I would've thought differently... But we aren't in the quarterfinals, so noo point discussing this still. That is libellous and Window cleaner will write to the club if he sees this My posting maybe limited soon as me and Dibden Purlieu/ unbelievable Jeff are expecting court visits to answer our exclusives on mopos top 8 bonus I know that our club would always go all out to win every game that they start so any suggestions that they don't are clearly preposterous and the incoherent ramblings of a deranged old man who is not responsible for his outburst. All in my humble opinion, of course.
