nta786 Posted 29 April, 2014 Posted 29 April, 2014 half fit bale playing very well in a champions league semi final right now All of RM playing well right now! Pep has ruined Bayern in a way, trying to play this intricate passing game... No doubt he'll win Bundesliga every year though, in a 1 team league. Ridiculous that Lewandowski moving next season ON A FREE. The Bayern Munich last season would've won this, and if not, certainly wouldve made a better game of it... As much as I want an English club to go to the final, a Madrid final would certainly be a great game to watch.
waggy Posted 29 April, 2014 Posted 29 April, 2014 Superb assist by Bale again for Ronaldo, looking good for a couple more in the 2nd half.
CB Saint Posted 29 April, 2014 Posted 29 April, 2014 I absolutely hate ribery, but I really don't know why:?

OldNick Posted 29 April, 2014 Posted 29 April, 2014 a Madrid final would certainly be a great game to watch. I would suspect that you will get that 0-0 was a negative result for Chelsea. Madrid only have to score and that will be enough on the night IMO
Glasgow_Saint Posted 29 April, 2014 Posted 29 April, 2014 Bale's success may inspire more young saints to move on/up Might just be a tini bit harder for us to keep Shaw, Chambers and co after this

Shance Posted 16 December, 2016 Posted 16 December, 2016 I reckon Bale could be the first saints graduate to win the Ballon D'or. That would be an amazing accolade if he could achieve it.
Nordic Saint Posted 16 December, 2016 Posted 16 December, 2016 Gareth Bale - 1 in 3 Jason Puncheon - 4 in 3 The figures don't lie. Adam Lallana - 3 in 2, which shows even if you give many years' service to Saints, you can still go on to be great at a big club and that's the message our players need to get, instead of leaving or being sold just after breaking into the first team, like Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaw and Chambers, and then seeing their careers stall elsewhere. Bale was a rare exception.
Batman Posted 16 December, 2016 Author Posted 16 December, 2016 I reckon Bale could be the first saints graduate to win the Ballon D'or. That would be an amazing accolade if he could achieve it. he is so far removed from the left back we had, it is unreal
