iansums Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Surely the fact that it does not have the Veho logo means that this is the training kit?.........please?
Matthew Le God Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Does anyone not think post #1584 is a plausible suggestion? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?49230-2014-15-Kit&p=1981721#post1981721
CB Fry Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Looks to me like the kind of kit a modern forward thinking revolutionary football team would wear. And yellow on sleeves is lucky in China or something.
Patrick Bateman Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Erm. Been sent this by a mate, with the caption "from the Cortese design house" It's SO absolutely horrendously vulgar, that I love it! I know, that's pretty weird.
Under Weststand Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 No f**king wonder all the players want to leave, if that's what they will have to wear. And I wouldn't blame them.
lloydie Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Get to fûck. Surely if we went to Errea or someone with a few bob right now, they could mock up some kits for us within a week or two, with a view to launch in mid august... it can't be THAT hard now can it?! Because this is too terrible to consider.
Saints foreva Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Some idiots will still pay £40-50 for it just because it has a Saints badge on it.
Heisenberg Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Does anyone not think post #1584 is a plausible suggestion? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?49230-2014-15-Kit&p=1981721#post1981721
Toon Saint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 A cult classic in the making. Will be cool in 20 years, just not now.
BlakeySFC Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Surely the fact that it does not have the Veho logo means that this is the training kit?.........please? Last years kit leak pic had no sponsor on it either...
iansums Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Last years kit leak pic had no sponsor on it either... FFS we're gonna be a laughing stock.
Matthew Le God Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Did you not read my post? I said there might be two player training kits like we had last season. Last season Saints had 2 training kits. This in the summer... This in the winter... This pre-season we've already seen this... I'm hoping we are doing the same again, because that is probably the worst Saints kit ever otherwise.
St Chalet Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 (edited) Am led to believe that this isn't the kit but was a genuine Nicola commissioned effort. Stand down with lynch mob Edited 3 July, 2014 by St Chalet
Saint Billy Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 I think Steve Grant is having a bit of fun.....................isn't he?
ratio_decidendi Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Call me a pedant (or desperate) but isn't there a difference between the badges on the training kit and 'leak' kit? Yellow and black on the training kit vs yellow and red (the black v red being the background to the central tree). It's a small detail, but....
farawaysaint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Oh well, I like the training kit so there's that.
Bewildered Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Am led to believe that this isn't the kit but was a genuine Nicola commissioned effort. Stand down with lynch mob I hope this is the case.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 God you lot are a bunch of bed wetters!! Haha
Kieran1uk Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 My question is...who going to model the new kit?? surely we have to be signing top class players in order for us to buy there shirts...right now we have sweet f.a Think I'll buy the training kit for this year..
Saint Charlie Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Schneiderlin just favourited a tweet that was, lets say, less than complementary about the kit!
Saint-Armstrong Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Didn't Ralph tell fans he would try to bring stripes back ASAP? Maybe, he ran out of time this season.
Bearsy Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Am led to believe that this isn't the kit but was a genuine Nicola commissioned effort. Stand down with lynch mob I spose I'm relieved but at the same time disappointed. It's like the day they took down the Ted Bates statue.
CB Fry Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Am led to believe that this isn't the kit but was a genuine Nicola commissioned effort. Stand down with lynch mob If that picture had a kit with the sponsor on it, then I'd be really worried. At worst, possibly a training kit. Definitely a thing about yellow this season, though.
Didcot Saint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Why can't the muppets just release the new kits and put us out of our misery
Tractor_Saint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Well at least that's stopped the twitter lot moaning about signings
Saint Jude Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 I've had a crap couple of weeks... and the news coming out of Saints hasn't exactly lightened up the evenings... but you lot have just made me wet myself laughing.. at that kit... and the response... I almost hope it's true... '
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Right I'm off to bed, big day tomorrow and if I sit here reading this crisp any longer I'm an actually going to **** my pants
fish fingers Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 I'll be disappointed if that's not the kit now, tis a cracker. Would deffo buy the retro version.
Coldridge Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 What I like about the garish thing is that they definitely couldn't get off with selling it for more than a tenner. £3.99 training kit t-shirt? Why not.
100% Saint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Erm. Been sent this by a mate, with the caption "from the Cortese design house" I'm sorry but what the actual flying **** is that? I know as you said before it might not and hopefully won't be the kit used. It might look at least a bit better if it was white instead of the yellow and dark red stripes. Would be interesting if someone did a mock up of that tho.
RAF Saint Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Surely if it was a red/yellow shirt then the whole colour coding of the club would match it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Golden Balls Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 God you lot are a bunch of bed wetters!! Haha I wish I was as cool as you
Strangely Brown Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Erm. Been sent this by a mate, with the caption "from the Cortese design house" Looking at the underarm colour perhaps we should be sponsored by Lynx
Olallana Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 If that´s not the kit, will Stevegrant be known here as a windup merchant??
saint lard Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Well, you wanted stripes...you got 'em. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 (edited) Well, you wanted stripes...you got 'em. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Definitely one for "we want our stripes back" Edited 3 July, 2014 by Batman
trousers Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 I've never ever had a strong opinion one way or the other about our kits, but IF that is anywhere near being close my membership application for the bedwetters club will be in the post!
The9 Posted 3 July, 2014 Author Posted 3 July, 2014 A few things here. 1) That kit is hideous 2) Steve didn't say it was the kit, so hardly WUMmery. 3) The badge is different on the red thing to the training kit (apart from anything the training kit badge is raised and both grey and white tops have the same badge on them, different from the red thing. 4) The trim on the red thing is similar to the training shirt patterns 5) Last season's "two training kits" thing is pretty much irrelevant, we've had just one training kit for numerous seasons of own-brand 6) The long socks with the training kit last year were full length white Adidas logo ones, also used for the alternate away socks at Old Trafford. 7) The current grey/yellow training socks match the training kit, not sure what other point there is from that 8 ) The yellow on the training kit is a different yellow from that on the red thing. 9) if that is the kit, it'll sell fewer than any shirt since the 1976 limited edition yellow away from 2006.
Nolan Posted 3 July, 2014 Posted 3 July, 2014 Part of the deal with Bournemouth to reduce their Lallana share. We have to wear their colours for a year.
