S-Clarke Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I think MP will be gone in the summer that is what it feels like to me Agreed. We'll probably end up with a hockey coach as manager, or something.
OldNick Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 At least we can concentrate on the cup. Oh.the side today was the one who should have played last week apparently. so we may have lost 2 nil
Batman Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Agreed. We'll probably end up with a hockey coach as manager, or something. as long as we have an extra 15 mins to park and sell a few books in the club shop
SuperMikey Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 20 shots, 4 on target. F*cking appalling. We need a striker in the summer, 100%.
Waterside.saint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Another fun week on the Saints Web Forum beckons. Thank heavens for the Pompey thread #meltdown #crisisclub Yes, always have a backup plan in case your own team is falling short, #p1sspoorportsmouth provide an inexhaustible supply of merriment
S-Clarke Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 As good as Shaw is, his crossing is utter crap.
Grey Crab Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Get ready for the............. It's already happened. Just look at the spazmos on this thread.
obelisk Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 What's disappointing for me is that Saints have had plenty of clear chances that they've just fluffed. Could have easily beaten this lot.
Dr Who? Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I think MP will be gone in the summer that is what it feels like to me I have always thought that he will be here until the summer. I also believe that the club will be sold, or they will try and sell the club anyway. I have not real reason for this but gut insticts. It seems that we are going the same way as last season, which is a worrying pattern.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 What's disappointing for me is that Saints have had plenty of clear chances that they've just fluffed. Could have easily beaten this lot. This...
S-Clarke Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 What's disappointing for me is that Saints have had plenty of clear chances that they've just fluffed. Could have easily beaten this lot. A powderpuff display is how I'd describe it. We've not been awful.
simo Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Dress it up how you like hoofball beats football we should of signed a defender and striker in January and Poch/shaw will be gone in the summer ! Time for another massive upheaval !
Saint86 Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 A season that promised so much fizzles out in ignominy. Purely because of the manager and no one else. The cup debacle was entirely on MoPo..... 4 wins in 17 tells another tale. Transfer wise, lets be honest, he signed Osvaldo, and the committee definitely signed wanyama and lovren, and ramirez. You give Nigel Adkins this team, we would score a **** load more, Lambert would be a new man, and we would go back to having **** all injuries... The most telling stat, Morgan no injuries for 3 seasons, then MoPo arrived. Adkins record once the team had adjusted is better than MoPo's, with a worse team. Plus Nigel actually loved the fans. Its clear than MoPo has far less feeling towards the fanbase, has zero interest in winning any silver trophies, and has openly refused to commit to the club going forward. I really hope we are looking for replacement's at this moment in time. Because we need to be ready when he ditches us, or being pre-emptive about it. Was it worth breaking up a winning team for sunderland? Just to go out of the cup, with a week to recover for this game? Is 9th place worth more than a possible trip to wembley?
OldNick Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 playing for 9th will be seen as the glory years this time next season. Mp leaves a lot will follow and then the whiners on here will get just what they deserve a club in freefall. Glasgow has disappeared for 10 minutes as his box of Kleenex has run out
pangy Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Only positive is Gaston has looked superb, even though I thought he would get butchered he really has stepped it up today
Convict Colony Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Gaston been our best player looks quite good actually surely good for a start next game with big vic Agree.
Dr Who? Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 the side today was the one who should have played last week apparently. so we may have lost 2 nil Good point well made. It seems we have got to the point of the season where we cannot seem to get motivated to push on. I think it was around 35/6 points last season and we could not buy a win!
110_Persaint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Even Fat Sam can outwit our muppet manager
Pastor Patrón Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I think MP will be gone in the summer that is what it feels like to me Not really a huge loss though is it? Even Adkins would've finished 13th or so last year and maybe 10th this year.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I'm more disappointed about this game than the Cup game.
Edmonton Saint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 West Ham have had one meaningful attack this half and scored from it. We have had plenty of possession and created chances, but we seem to lack conviction when we get into the penalty area.
Chez Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Perhaps not the time or place but the question of attractive football vs results at all costs has never been more poignant. Perhaps the cup defeat has knocked the stuffing out of me a bit, so this doesn't hurt as much as it should, but I'd still take the odd defeat if it means watching our passing style.
Ohio Saint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 On the bright side, Ramirez could be really good next season.
110_Persaint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Only positive is Gaston has looked superb, even though I thought he would get butchered he really has stepped it up today I've been advocating him being a regular for some time, looked quality every time he's come on. His falling out with MoPo is just one of many reasons why the manager has to go.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Even Fat Sam can outwit our muppet manager Where as anyone could outwit you
Saint Without a Halo Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Ramierez seems to be the only bright spot from today he looks better than before even though coming back from injury
OldNick Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Even Fat Sam can outwit our muppet manager shouldnt you be watching the S****horpe game?
pangy Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Looked far more dangerous with Lambert off imo
S-Clarke Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Even though we're pushing a bit in the last 10/15mins, we've still not scored. It's a bit pathetic really.
miserableoldgit Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 playing for 9th will be seen as the glory years this time next season. Mp leaves a lot will follow and then the whiners on here will get just what they deserve a club in freefall. Glasgow has disappeared for 10 minutes as his box of Kleenex has run out He went to give his monkeys a banana each.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I've been advocating him being a regular for some time, looked quality every time he's come on. His falling out with MoPo is just one of many reasons why the manager has to go. Your ability to talk utter s hite is incredible
Waterside.saint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 On the bright side, Ramirez could be really good next season. Yeah, courage mes braves - its always going to be like swimming through treacle when trying to play good, entertaining football against a squad of cloggers
Chez Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Only positive is Gaston has looked superb, even though I thought he would get butchered he really has stepped it up today Agree gaston has looked good, but we created.loads of chances which must be seen as a positive.
S-Clarke Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Powderpuff saints. A non-event of a game. What a **** 2 weeks of football. Way to go.
Dr Who? Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I'm more disappointed about this game than the Cup game. I am more disappointed about this game, beacause of the cup game! I am still peed off about last week more.
obelisk Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Poor finishing & sloppy defending by Saints. Gifted to WHU.
James Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 So we sacrificed the cup for that shambles? Thanks MP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint Fan CaM Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 No point in having 70% possession if you (a) don't defend like idiots and (b) score more than the other team. Wet Sham wanted it more. We were pedestrian in attack until we were 3-1 down. Pathetic.
Ohio Saint Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Even Fat Sam can outwit our muppet manager Your ability to talk utter s hite is incredible Reading this is like watching two turds float around the toilet bowl.
badgerx16 Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Glasgow goes quiet and then 5 minutes later 110% turns up...........
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Agree gaston has looked good, but we created.loads of chances which must be seen as a positive. I agree mate but it wont.. On another day those chances would have gone in
adrian lord Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 Reading this is like watching two turds float around the toilet bowl. PMSL. post of the day.
Goatboy Posted 22 February, 2014 Posted 22 February, 2014 I've been advocating him being a regular for some time, looked quality every time he's come on. His falling out with MoPo is just one of many reasons why the manager has to go. Hi, I'm new to the forum. How do I find the ignore button?
