channonwindmill Posted 1 March, 2014 Share Posted 1 March, 2014 Obviously I hope he stays with us his entire career and wins trophies with Saints, though I accept that may not be realistic - but hey a fan can hope right? We have to have hope, otherwise we turn into Alpine.
Barry Sanchez Posted 1 March, 2014 Share Posted 1 March, 2014 Shaw, Lallana and Rodriquez have all had their best season to date, playing their way into the England squad. Why leave? More money to sit on the bench somewhere? At a larger club, on more money with a higher profile, why cant they play their way in to the 1st team? How do we know they would not go straaight in, staying here if a bigger club came along is stagnation and a backwards step and to be honest one that I dont think any right minded footballer would take nowadays. Frank's cousin Posted 1 March, 2014 Share Posted 1 March, 2014 What red mist? Just seeing what you want to see. Hilarious lottery gag, like, just so clever of you. We were never going to become a Champions League club. If you think predicting that obvious outcome is as complex as predicting the flamin' lottery then I am sorry that you are actually that dim. To you last point, review what "situation" on what terms? What will be, will be, and I'll support us anyway. I won't be pining for some Italian in a suit, whatever happens. And being that you take huge joy from mocking those who want us to win stuff and progress into European football I struggle to conceive what you want from your club anyway. You know, what is funny/most disturbing about you CB is the way you always seem to totally contradict yourself. On the one hand you appear like Turkish's cousin, laughing at those who take the internet and especially the 'mong board' so seriously.... Yet your posts are so full of anger and resentment... Way more than is necessary if this is all just a laugh... Maybe it's your frustration, in not being competent in understanding some very simple concepts... I see you face strained, red , like a constipated fool, struggling to comprehend. Your only defence is the persistent sarcasm - not only the lowest form of wit, but one that needs to be used sparingly, if it is to be effective... Otherwise as In your case it's loses all it's power to inject thought provoking comment, and becomes bitter, and quite laughable. Your failure to grasp that nobody is pining for the 'Italian suit', that nobody is crying that he is gone, your inability to differentiate between probability and possibility, pragmatism, realism and aspiration...etc, just highlights that you need to go and sit down and calm down, learn to read and comprehend and then offer thoughtful responses whilst respecting opinion... If anyone on here is taking it all too seriously, it's you old boy.

Stagnation and a backward step? Not sure that makes sense but does show your pessimism! Anyway, if he is improving as a player he is doing neither. European football and a better squad of players is a good draw but not as doubling your wages and winning trophies.

I think it is jolly sweet that you and Les hold up these "concepts" about probability and possibility like you've just invented the water - powered motor car. Probability, pragmatism, possibility, realism, aspiration. How you manage to wring so much vacuous verbiage about nothing is truly spectacular. So my old chum, stop slapping yourself on the back that I don't understand clever old you. Seriously, you say eff all of any value whatsoever. Understand that. Never actually responding to posts, just your sad attempts at put downs to try and force your opinion on folks and belittle theirs... You must be seriously miserable if that floats your boat. So again, if this is all taken Far too seriously and it's just a mong board, something you are at pains to point out at every opportunity, why are you so full of constipated anger... You should be careful, all that straining will give you piles... Maybe that's it?
Wes Tender Posted 2 March, 2014 Share Posted 2 March, 2014 Shakespeare sums up nicely what CB Fry represents on this forum:- "I did never know so full a voice issue from so empty a heart: but the saying is true, the empty vessel makes the greatest sound". It's a little bit rich you talking about people "never responding to posts" when I've been waiting several days to explain how Saints have "broken glass ceilings and turned over "preconceptions" and "established views" by the earth shattering achievement of spending thirty million quid to get to ninth in the league. Especially as only a day or so later you were piping up "what's so great about finishing eighth". So ninth is breaking down "established views" and "glass ceilings" but eighth "isn't great"? Brilliant. That's the problem with you Franko. Just words on words on words saying everything and absolutely nothing. Contradicting yourself through constant double backing on every single thought you have. Just a torrent of brain sludge signifying absolutely eff all. So carry on "cracking up". The rest of us patiently await your next 700 word round the houses aimless ramble with all the instances of "the" typed wrong.

It gets boring reminding you about how spectacularly wrong you are about pretty much everything. Chin up, though, sweetheart.
