kwsaint Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Admittedly two were against championship sides but even so, that's pretty good.
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Yep, we're getting ourselves back into gear - which was always going to happen once we navigated through that awful run of fixtures with a thread bare squad. Reality is that we're a decent side at this level, just not quite good enough to go toe to toe with the top 4 when we have injuries. Not too shabby really.
Saint Garrett Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 All comes down to injuries really doesnt it. Having to play Davis and Gazza and Fox and Hooiveld against the best sides in the league is asking for trouble.
SuperSAINT Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 CRISIS!!!!! This has been a pretty comfortable meltdown so far
Glasgow_Saint Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Always said that once players returned from injury that results would pick up
Saint_clark Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Quite often talked about hitting form at the right time and with 12 games to go we're starting to gather momentum. Get Lovren and Gallagher back and we're looking good for overtaking 2 or 3 of the teams above us...

Saint_clark Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Don't forget young Gaston as well, still think he'll have a part to play. Yep totally forgot him. I'm firmly in the "he can still come good" camp.
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Yep totally forgot him. I'm firmly in the "he can still come good" camp. I keep wavering as he has been incredibly frustrating, but his appearances prior to injury have reignited something about him, there's talent there waiting to burst out.

Smirking_Saint Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Always said that once players returned from injury that results would pick up Atleast you can laugh at yourself I suppose

Yes but he possesses skills different to the other members of team. Also unlike osvaldo he seems to really like being one of the lads.
ericofarabia Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 This has been a pretty comfortable meltdown so far Unbeaten since Nasty Nic has gone and Top Kat has taken over the Goodship Southampton Fc!!
