fez Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 We have to start positively, all guns blazing, not pitter-pattering about like against Stoke, which gave Stoke the opportunity to take the initiative. We mustn't make that mistake again. We scored after 6 minutes against Stoke - I'd be happy with that tonight

Batman Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 so much for loads of changes. which was never going to happen good team
Andy Durman Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Excellent team. Clyne will be disappointed.
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Good team, shouldn't be a problem playing Saturday > Tuesday > Saturday, they did it for 3 years not so long ago.
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Excellent team. Clyne will be disappointed. Had a slight tweak on Saturday apparently, but this is the bonus of having 2 exceptional players in 1 position. Great competition.
Dalek2003 Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Win today and we are virtually safe. To be sure I think we need 40.
Saint_Tony Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Good to see. Its only every so often we have 3 games in a week. A defeat with that side out will be unacceptable
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Win today and we are virtually safe. To be sure I think we need 40. We are already safe.
Olallana Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 No Gallagher unfortunately but understandable..
Dalek2003 Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 We are already safe. You can think that if you like. I prefer to get to 40 points.
S-Clarke Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 You can think that if you like. I prefer to get to 40 points. Ok.
Matthew Le God Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 (edited) Win today and we are virtually safe. To be sure I think we need 40. Then you are a fool and/or windup merchant as has been said on a number of occasions when you bring this tripe up time after time after time after time after time after time. The team in 18th place has 23 points from 25 games, only 13 games remain. It would take a remarkable shift in form from the leagues bottom half teams and a downturn from the top half teams in order for the teams from 10th to 18th (or 19th and 20th) to get 40 points and leave Saints relegated. We are safe already ffs! Edited 11 February, 2014 by Matthew Le God
BlakeySFC Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 We always draw 2-all we always draw 2-all 2-ALL
Dark Munster Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Full strength team, no-one being rested/protected. If no-one gets injured/suspended, I'll be very happy and those that called it will tell me "I told you it was ok to play a full-strength team." If a key player gets injured/suspended, I'll say "I told you it was too risky to play a full-strength team."
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 You can think that if you like. I prefer to get to 40 points. God I thought I was cautious!!!!

Agreed with this. 18th place are averaging 0.92 points per game (over the season so far). If they continue like they are then they will achieve another 12 points bringing them to a total of 35. We are as Safe as houses! Too many doom and gloom merchants on here.

Batman Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Agreed. I would guess that the starting 11 for Hull would cost more than ours yet, losing away to a pretty decent team is now "unacceptable"..? WTF happened there?
Whitey Grandad Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 You can think that if you like. I prefer to get to 40 points. We shall but what's the rush?

WTF happened there? If that's his opinion then that's his opinion. He's entitled to it. It's no more stupid than a lot on here
angelman Posted 11 February, 2014 Posted 11 February, 2014 Jack Cork hat-trick, 6-0. Guly to come on late and get a 9 minute hat-trick. 4-1
