Will we beat our Premier League points record this season?

35 points so far from 24 matches.

We hit 52 points in 2000/1 and 2002/3.

Should we expect 17 or more points from the remaining 14 games?

Possibly. I reckon we'll get somewhere close to it, 15 to 20 points more is my prediction. Depends on form, we have Palace in March - will they be the team they are currently or will they be broken by then? We have Cardiff, Villa and Swansea in the last five fixtures too - will they still be in a relegation battle by then?

Then there's the usual mid-table apathy. When it starts looking like we're comfortably mid-table and not likely to achieve anything further up the table, there's a chance our form will tail off as players will be "on the beach". I'm not saying that will happen under Pochettino, or in a WC year, but it's a possibilty.
