saint lard Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 She seemed to really enjoy herself tonight. Really good to have a face to put to the Liebherr name since Markus. They do own is after all. I'm glad she has moved more into the limelight, even if it is slightly reluctantly. A bit of clarity at last. I was worried after Nicola left, but I don't think I need to. That game must have shown her what it's like to own a EPL club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CB Fry Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 She should be proud of what she, the manager and the players have achieved, especially over the last year or so.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 Still unbeaten under her. The chairwoman to take us to the next level? I can see Cortese was a good championship chairman but he was starting to show himself to be out of his depth in the Premier league, we wouldn't have got a point tonight if he was here. He'll get a good job at an Ipswich or Derby but was starting to be found out in the prem.

No better than what the Italian Peter Risdale could muster last year with more or less the same team- serious question marks whether she's making enough progress. Edited 28 January, 2014 by shurlock
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 No better than what the clueless dwarf Cortese could muster last year with more or less the same team- serious question marks whether she's making enough progress. This time last season we were already out of the FA Cup and I don't remember nic nac having to give a 18 year old striker his debut because of injury and players fighting each other. She's performing very well.
hypochondriac Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 Such a good performance tonight. For me the feelgood factor has returned.
Bucks Saint Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 Fair play to her for stepping up and making the effort to be at games.
CanadaSaint Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 For someone who's supposedly not into football, she seemed very into football.
Halo Stickman Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 I reckon she’s enjoying owning a football club – on nights like these, what’s there not to like?
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 Perhaps she's caught the incurable bug?
Huffton Posted 28 January, 2014 Posted 28 January, 2014 Just hope she doesn't think every game will be as good as that one!
S-Clarke Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Does anyone know if Markus's seat is still left empty? or is that where KL now sits? (i sit in the kingsland, so can't really see) I remember when NC was around, he always used to leave ML's seat empty next to him (it has a plaque on I think)

Griffo Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 I can look past her fat when she smiles. Can see myself falling for her soon.
rick1976.4.38 Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 I can look past her fat when she smiles. Can see myself falling for her soon. but would she fall for you:lol:
yorkie Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Why shouldn't she? Good atmosphere, great performance and her investment looks very sound. Nothing like a night game to raise the spirits - The Dell used to come to life at night and SMS against a London team generates a real atmosphere too. How different people look when they smile - good on you Katrina Leibherr!
Tokyo-Saint Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Perhaps she's caught the incurable bug? You thinking she had a night out on the town afterwards and got lucky?
sussexsaint Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 We should get the flag back out. Pitiful how little its seen the light of day after all the effort to put it together. Watched the JPT final again the other day and still giggled when the crowed cheered Markus and Booed NC, how things changed in a few years I believe the family were genuinely touched by the outpouring of emotion from fans when the man passed, if they stay as a family its that sort of memory that will keep them here.
sandwichsaint Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Just hope she doesn't think every game will be as good as that one! Always a problem that one, my nipper took his GF to her first ever game couple of years ago, Ipswich 2 Saints 5! Saints were just simply awesome that night and in the first half it was like watching MOTD highlights with the goals raining in - we had to tell her watching Saints wasn't always like that (TBF the last few seasons there's been quite a bit like that!)
Turkish Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 but would she fall for you:lol: you often see skinny little runts with the larger lady so there is a good chance.
saintalan Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Just hope she doesn't think every game will be as good as that one! Well she had the Yeovil match to compare ;-)
Bearsy Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 You thinking she had a night out on the town afterwards and got lucky? anyone seen mikey?
SNSUN Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 For someone who's supposedly not into football, she seemed very into football. This was my thought. Perhaps she bloody loves football and has kept it quiet. Someone give her a shirt. (Striped one, circa 2003.)
Bearsy Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 were there any songs? worst one was the kingsland doing the macarena except replacing it with Heeeey Katharina Aaaaii! It was v.embarassing complete with co-ordinated dance moves and everything. Arsenal fans was pissing themselves.
Turkish Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Shuffles paper to the left shuffles paper to the right Katherina Liebherr makes Cortese look sh*te

shurlock Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Thought SM was also 'thick set'. Was she wearing a wrist band?
carljack Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Thought SM was also 'thick set'. Was she wearing a wrist band? More like a gastric band!

bridge too far Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 I think it would be polite and respectful to the woman who is funding our club to: a) Spell her name correctly b) Stop the childish references to her shape / size
Bearsy Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 (edited) i will try btf but i don't really see it as my job to be polite+respectful and spell things good. We have you for that. Edited 29 January, 2014 by Bearsy added smiley to make more polite+respect
Huffton Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 I think it would be polite and respectful to the woman who is funding our club to: a) Spell her name correctly b) Stop the childish references to her shape / size Agreed. However as most of them seem to struggle with the correct spelling of Adkins I don't hold out much hope...
Saint Garrett Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Is it Katherina or Katrina? I've been calling her Katherina but have heard and read Katrina loads.....
Lazlo78 Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 (edited) Is it Katherina or Katrina? I've been calling her Katherina but have heard and read Katrina loads..... Neither. It's Katharina I'm assuming the 'th' diagraph is just a 't' in German, so it's probably pronounced "Kattarina"... Edit: added 'pronounced'... Edited 29 January, 2014 by Lazlo78

Bearsy Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Neither. It's Katharina I'm assuming the 'th' diagraph is just a 't' in German, so it's probably "Kattarina"... word? I would refer everyone to post #28 where it turns out i'm the only one what spells good!
Big Bad Bob Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 word? I would refer everyone to post #28 where it turns out i'm the only one what spells good! Speels proper!! FFS Bear pull it together The few shots I saw of her on my stream she looked like she was in the arctic or something
Lazlo78 Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 word? I would refer everyone to post #28 where it turns out i'm the only one what spells good! That's odd, Bearsy. I hope you'll recover soon! In the meantime, you should be able to get some fun out of, say, this: http://translate.google.com/#de/en/liebe%20herren Don't disappoint me on this one!

buctootim Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Agreed. Me too. Usually I feel anyone is fair game if its funny - but fat jokes about the person financing our hobby / passion in memory of her father, really?
Sergei Gotsmanov Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 I think it would be polite and respectful to the woman who is funding our club to: a) Spell her name correctly b) Stop the childish references to her shape / size Quite right +1
Window Cleaner Posted 29 January, 2014 Posted 29 January, 2014 Well I don't know but she looked pretty miffed when Luke banged heads with Sagna, and that look really didn't do her any favours, probably looks her best when smiling actually.
