Saint Charlie Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 No Berbatov for Fulham tomorrow - he is joining Monaco apparently. Hopefully Holtby and the Greek lad if they sign him, wont be signed in time to play.
beatlesaint Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Hopefully Holtby and the Greek lad if they sign him, wont be signed in time to play. if they hadnt signed by 12.00 they cant face us :-)
wessex saint Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Holtby to Fulham was announced just after 12 by Spurs. Would imagine he could play tomorrow, although hardly a concern!
BotleySaint Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 The striker looks a good buy too! Shame we didn't go in for him as a Osvaldo replacement.
saint_ed Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 The striker looks a good buy too! Shame we didn't go in for him as a Osvaldo replacement. Looks an absolutely cracking signing on paper. Big test for him to step up to Premier League though and they'll be expecting results instantly.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 The striker looks a good buy too! Shame we didn't go in for him as a Osvaldo replacement. So hard to tell with players coming from Greece. Even Samaras looked good in Greece. He may ofcourse come good. Might be awful. Bringing in strikers is such a gamble.
Victor Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 So hard to tell with players coming from Greece. Even Samaras looked good in Greece. He may ofcourse come good. Might be awful. Bringing in strikers is such a gamble. Tho they're possibly strengthening their defence as well with Heitinga.
Saint Garrett Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 So are Fulhams signings available tomorrow?! Would prefer to play against them without their new boys...
Jack Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Boruc Chambers Fonte Yoshi Shaw Cork Schneiderlin Davis Lallana Rodriguez Gallagher Davis, Clyne, Jos, JWP, Wanyama, Guly, Lambert 0-2
Giordano Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Ive got a feeling 1-4...or 0-4....think i will be having a total goals punt on this game as I think we will attack attack attack this lot....
Batman Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 I know everyone likes Davis but for me he doesn't provide enough attacking threat for the position he plays. I'd play Morgan there and see if he does better. Huge potential and should be scoring more IMO. Better at through balls too. Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Cork Wanyama Lallana Morgan JRod Lambert like that team. chambers or clyne. Either, or
Jonnyboy Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 (edited) Hopefully Lambo will look a lot happier now Os****o has gone. Edited 31 January, 2014 by Jonnyboy
BlakeySFC Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Got a nasty feeling we're gonna be embarassed by Fulham tomorrow…hope I'm wrong.

Dark Munster Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Got a nasty feeling we're gonna be embarassed by Fulham tomorrow…hope I'm wrong. You usually are.
Rasiak-9- Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 This match is part of us 'making that next step up'. We've been promoted, survived, know how to grind out wins at home and go toe-to-toe with the big boys. The next step? Going into certain away games against Premiership opposition and actually being charged with expecting to win. Lets do it boys!
Turkish Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Seems like we'll have quite a few there tomorrow, loads in the neutral end too. So let's get the all important FACTS on the table. With so many of us there it's important we make a good impression on a decent part of London, so no scruff bags please. What is everyone wearing? I'll probably go for timberland shoes, boss cords, a black fine knit boss collared top, a black wax barbour jacket and my grey flat cap. How are you all dressing for the occasion?

Do you know something Pardew, Adkins and Poch don't? Where do you guys dream this stuff up!

Batman Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 No berbatov, gone to Monaco Guess it will be bent up front tomorrow

Turkish Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Are you mugging me off? I really don't know what you're talking about. Have you been drinking?
Wade Garrett Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 I really don't know what you're talking about. Have you been drinking? Faaaaack off you Toby.
Turkish Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Faaaaack off you Toby. You're odd. Drink issues?
S-Clarke Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 You're odd. Drink issues? Deadline day is simply too much for some.
S-Clarke Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Fulham latest As reports begin to land of Philippe Senderos penning a move to Valencia, does that mean Johnny Heitinga has joined Fulham? All will (may) be revealed in the next hour... .....Bit disappointing if Senderos isn't available for tomorrow, as he's ****. But even if they do get Heitinga, they won't be able to play him.

As long as our fans don't take the attitude of some Arsenal fans I heard Tuesday night complaining that they should always beat pond life like Southampton.
Turkish Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 As long as our fans don't take the attitude of some Arsenal fans I heard Tuesday night complaining that they should always beat pond life like Southampton. Most arsenal fans I spoke to were happy for a point and alway knew it would be a tough game.

Senderos has been dropped recently - they've been playing someone called Dan Burn. I think he was on loan at Birmingham. No idea if he is any good. I reckon Fulham are there for the taking tomorrow. If we want it enough, I think we'll win.
SuperSAINT Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 (edited) Senderos has joined Valencia on a permanent deal. Edited 31 January, 2014 by SuperSAINT

I'll probably go for timberland shoes, boss cords, a black fine knit boss collared top, a black wax barbour jacket and my grey flat cap. How are you all dressing for the occasion? Some M & S slacks, Lycra trunks (also m & s), grey socks (debenhams I think) suede boots (timberland) a T-shirt (yet to be decided) and a black waterproof jacket (also Timberland). I am in my 40s so am past the days when I spent 2 weeks wage on an Armani jumper - when it was truly exclusive I must add and before they extended to ski-pants for large ladies in Shirley High st. Also in neutral end and cant wait
S-Clarke Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 So they can't play the Greek striker or Heitenga, and have lost Berbatov and Ruiz. Berbatov can be rubbish most the time but he was the one I'd fear most. Their defence will be pretty weak anyway, but they have a good keeper if the dutch guy is fit. Stockdale is crap though. Do think Holtby will be good for them but hopefully not tomorrow. Be interesting to see their line-up. Suppose the signings might give them a lift, make people fight for places, but they're definitely beatable tomorrow. I just don't want to see another dominant performance without 3 points. Rather get a lucky 1-0 win right now. Is it confirmed that they cannot play the new greek lad? Bit of a bonus if true, as they don't exactly have much up to.
whelk Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Anyone playing had to have been registered with PL by noon so no
S-Clarke Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 Anyone playing had to have been registered with PL by noon so no Thought they may have just managed to get him over the line before then, but good news.
dannysfc Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 We Have to Win this one which I think we Will in order to try and keep up with Newcastle and others and am going for a 3-1 Saints Win with goals from J Rod, Lallana and Cork/Schneiderlin for Saints and Sidwell/Dempsey for Fulham but we'l see!!! COYR!!!
Graffito Posted 31 January, 2014 Posted 31 January, 2014 An early goal then keep the ball, will pile on the pressure. Desperate B@stards 0 - Saints 2.
whelk Posted 1 February, 2014 Posted 1 February, 2014 Definity announced after noon so depends when they got the paperwork done. Will just be bent up front I imagine but still can't give them too many chances. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25892225
DuncanRG Posted 1 February, 2014 Posted 1 February, 2014 Rubbing my hands at the thought of Darren Bent leading the line for Fulham tomorrow.
