Manuel Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 The easiest team for now, while we get the team back to full strength. Sheffield Wednesday?
Badger Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 The easiest team for now, while we get the team back to full strength. Sheffield Wednesday? Is Mandaric still chairman there ? Just to a bit of spice to it.
DuncanRG Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 It still annoys me massively that they have the semis at Wembley. I like the idea of having them at neutral venues but they should really be at grounds like Old Trafford, Villa Park etc where possible.
Dr Who? Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 I would like Wednesday at home, but we will probably get Chelsea away. Would take any team at home apart from Chelsea, arsenal and man city.
rshephard3 Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 We will get Liverpool Correct. Liverpool it will be. Had a feeling about it all day. Would love to smash Brighton in their cup final at the Amex though.
Crazy Diamond Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Charlton away. Purely cos I've never been and it's now a fairly local fixture for me.
Patrick Bateman Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Brighton or Charlton home or away please. This Chelsea - Stoke match is INCREDIBLY dull. No atmosphere either, zzzzz
Window Cleaner Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Brighton or Charlton home or away please. This Chelsea - Stoke match is INCREDIBLY dull. No atmosphere either, zzzzz Watched about 25 minutes of the first half...absolutely atrocious. In fact it would probably be better if the FA put the Cup into midweek and left the League programmes on week-ends. That's the way all the other main football nations do it. You'd probably get better cup games without most sides looking to do the minimum to win and not get injured for their league game 2 days later.
Whitey Grandad Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 It still annoys me massively that they have the semis at Wembley. I like the idea of having them at neutral venues but they should really be at grounds like Old Trafford, Villa Park etc where possible. They have to be at Wembley to pay for its reconstruction. Ironic really, they build a new Wembley in order to increase its capacity and then they have to sell 17,500 seats to corporate leases in order to pay for it.
derry Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Careful what you wish for, Sheff Utd's pitch reminded me of the sixties, a mud heap. There could be a few more like that lower down. Lower league team at SMS for me.
alehouseboys Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 It still annoys me massively that they have the semis at Wembley. They have to be at Wembley to pay for its reconstruction. Ironic really, they build a new Wembley in order to increase its capacity and then they have to sell 17,500 seats to corporate leases in order to pay for it. Add to that, the ridiculous situation where each club gets over 31,000 tickets for the semi, then just 25,000 for the final.
adysaint Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Am I the only person who hates it when they say: "Here's some balls to look out for..." and put the numbers up? It spoils it IMO. I press the 'mute' button and use a piece of card to cover up that side of the screen. I wish they'd say: "Look away now" like they do on the news.
SaintSteve Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Man City at home then we can get rid of them before a Neutral ground round...
Saint86 Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 I'd like sunderland at home, and for everyone to kick the actual crap out of their players.... propper cup tie like.... But with a score to settle. Injure enough of them and we can get fair payment for them, poyet, and hopefully get the bastard relegated.
Saint Garrett Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Number 3 arent we? Yep, Anyone got a list of numbers? EDIT: 1 Sunderland, 2 Cardiff City, 3 Southampton, 4 Charlton Athletic, 5 Brighton & Hove Albion, 6 Nottingham Forest or Preston North End, 7 Hull City, 8 Sheffield Wednesday, 9 Arsenal, 10 Everton, 11 Wigan Athletic, 12 Chelsea, 13 Manchester City, 14 Liverpool, 15 Swansea City, 16 Sheffield United or Fulham.
Sour Mash Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 I might have missed something, but why is Townsend's father involved in it?
John Boy Saint Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Saints Number 3 apparently if not mentioned elsewhere
RedArmy Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Cracking draw so far. The big 4 drawn against each other.
The Kraken Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 I might have missed something, but why is Townsend's father involved in it? I think he's involved with Kick it Out.
Saint_clark Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 2 of liverpool, chelsea, city and arsenal definitely out.
doubleonothing Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Saints will play Sunderland at the Stadium of Light
Dr Who? Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Wembley, Wembley, we're the famous Southampton and we're going to Wembley!
suewhistle Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 Saints Number 3 apparently if not mentioned elsewhere sod

Lighthouse Posted 26 January, 2014 Posted 26 January, 2014 With the big boys drawing each other we've got a decent chance now. Christ knows we owe Sunderland one.
