Saint-Armstrong Posted 21 January, 2014 Share Posted 21 January, 2014 Was appointed to DMWSL 613 LIMITED and SOUTHAMPTON FOOTBALL CLUB on 20/01/2014 - but had his directorship terminated on the same day. He's an Austrian agent. Is he completing the board line-up? Had heard there would be three new faces. Williams? Krueger and... Lenhart? Or is he simply acting as an agent for KL during this process? Was told the board would comprise... Williams, Reed, McGlinchey, Krueger + A N OTHER? Any ideas?

He is the first appointment made by Katharina Liebherr, since she took over the role of executive chairman in the wake of Cortese's sensational walkout. “We don’t know much about him as he was only introduced to us yesterday,” club spokesman, Simon Williams, told SportsDirect News. “I believe his role is largely going to be advisory – but it will be defined properly over the course of the next few weeks.” Quite why Lenhart has been asked to joined the club is unapparent, as his CV is hardly gold-plated. The 53-year-old is a former Austrian league footballer, who played for LASK in the 1980s. In recent years he has been a football agent, and has a small portfolio of players, plying their trades in Europe’s second and third tiers. He also does work for a Liechtenstein-based charity called Football Is More, which aims to support and help disadvantaged youngsters growing up in crisis areas around the world. Yes what we really need is someone with a track record - obviously in the English game - we dont want someone with those fancy dan foreign ideas. Simon Jordan/Harry Redknapp/Terry Venables would be my dream team (CEO; Manager, DoF) with maybe Peter Ridsdale in there to ensure financial probity. ART Posted 21 January, 2014 Share Posted 21 January, 2014 If we're really in need of someone with a track record, integrity, then Rupert Lowe fills that role. You must be out of your head to suggest Peter Ridsdale or anyone of his background. Let the woman complete her work, before nit picking every rumor or bit of gossip. She's doing fine by me and she's moving very fast indeed.

Having got rid of someone who was I think by most standards was successful, but alienated a few along the way, replace him with someone who was, I think most would agree, unsuccessful and alienated everyone. That would be real progress.
