Usual trolls and gullible fools responding with the sky is falling in. As much as I think Alpine is a twonk, Delldays/Batman ain't far behind.

Why not just enjoy the season and see where we go after that? Some of you lot really need to get a life..................

The main board has turned into a Muppet Show and becomes worse by the day. Are the Admins just going to sit back and let it happen? Don't think they'll be many membership renewals at this rate. Once the finest football forum on the web. :(

Anyone who has Chrome, right click on anything you want to edit, and choose "Inspect Element". You can then enter your own text. Works on any web page but only takes effect on your machine.

Not just Chrome - you can do this sort of thing in all browsers, even Intercr@p Explorer.

Only masses of Charity ones, and Luke Shaw can afford to go a bit up-market than those

Sadly, how true that is. I looked around Southampton city centre last week for the first time in about 10 years, I couldn't believe what I saw, and how depressing. All that bit around the Bargate and Jongleurs boarded up, Poundland where C&A used to be, those department stores at the top end of the street gone. I could go on. Reminded me that living in London we have been immune to the worst of the financial crisis…………...

To be fair, the quality wasn't improved by you starting a thread on how Aaron Martin might get a game for us in the PL.

If you wanted to spout ******, you might have well gone the whole hog and said Jonno Forte.

Even Portsmouth and Brighton are better for shopping than Soton now sadly. Men's clothes shopping anyway. The choice is appalling. Maybe I've got used to London but it's a shame some of the more up-market shops don't come to West Quay. Bigger centres like Westfield balance the standard high street shops with more up-market and top end but West Quay just relies on John Lewis!

It's not even just the lack of choice of shops though, it's that what is there all sells the same (badly made and cheap) clothes. It's not a surprise we have so many scruffy fuc.kers in our support since it's almost impossible to get decent clobber in southampton these days.

Mind you i'm pretty spoilt by living and working in London now, i just couldn't imagine having to rely on the crap you get served up in southampton these days.

That's fine - but why do you keep rabbiting on about it

There seems to be a competition on here to 'remind' everyone in as many threads as possible just what size club we really are. Deldays has accepted the challange and is currently fighting for first place. Any notions above our station they have to jump on and woe betides any dreamers out there our forum buddies are just waiting to jump on you.

True. There are far better cheap shops in London too. Don't think there's a Uni Qlo in Soton but that's pretty good value lower end stuff, million miles better than the likes of H&M, Next and the other Arcadia shops which I'm amazed still exist. Topshop/Topman in London isn't my tastes but seems to be far better than the regional stores.

I wouldn't demand the top end stores, I'm not that bothered about Prada, Gucci etc! But a House of Fraser would help, even Croydon has one! Or Reiss, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss. Even a Banana Republic rather than a Gap!

There's an ASDA isn't there? George is all the rage these days!!
