Lallana's Left Peg Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 Lovren said 2 weeks today. If he means match ready as well then he thinks he'll be ready for West Ham away.
Olallana Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 Probably West Ham as earliest.... Lovren said he would train with the group next week but think Sunderland is too early..

Sheaf Saint Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 St chalet an identical tackle . So one ref sends him off and another doesn't It wasn't identical. In the tackle on Gaston he at least made a slight connection with the ball. He got nowhere near the ball in the one today.
Olallana Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 I see Wes Brown got sent off today. Bit of Karma and suspended for our game I assume. Isn´t it only one game if ref deems it to be a goal chance sending off?
Whitey Grandad Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 Isn´t it only one game if ref deems it to be a goal chance sending off? Normally, yes. We may have to wait for the referee's report. Previous suspensions lead to an accumulation of more than one game ban. Has he been sent off before during this season? Have a look at section 8g: http://www.thefa.com/~/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/rules-of-the-association/2013-14/memorandum-of-disciplinary-procedures---section-a_b_c.ashx

Whitey Grandad Posted 8 February, 2014 Share Posted 8 February, 2014 He has been two times earlier, one of those got rescinded... So it looks like an extra match for the one previous valid suspension plus one or three depending on whether this one is denying an opportunity or serious foul play. I think Yoshida is still a great squad player, but you don't leave out one of the best defenders in European football if he's available!

S-Clarke Posted 13 February, 2014 Share Posted 13 February, 2014 Really surprised to see Gaston back so soon, that looked such a bad injury. Got a good feeling regarding him and the run in. No pressure in terms of our league status, so go out there and impose yourself on games.
