Bewildered Posted 18 January, 2014 Share Posted 18 January, 2014 We would have been a whopping 10 points clear of the team below us if we'd won today. Hey ho Even if we are poor the rest of the season, I can't see us dropping too many places. Fun fact: at 0.8 ppg, if the bottom three keep that kind of form through to the end of the season they will finish with 31 pts, the same amount we have after 22 games. S-Clarke Posted 19 January, 2014 Share Posted 19 January, 2014 Swansea are in deep, deep trouble. nta786 Posted 19 January, 2014 Share Posted 19 January, 2014 The Europa League is always a killer... Playing Thursday and Sunday and sometimes travelling as far as Russia wil have taken toll on squads. Plus, with our pressing style of football, doing that on a Thursday and Sunday would be horrible... The only advantage that it brings is the revenue and TV Money and in Swansea's case, they get to play Napoli!
