Cortese to go?

Or Corteses's group of Swiss bankers he's kept in the background ?

Probably the best case scenario if the reports are true, but I doubt that will happen.

Would be funny to see the reaction of Pompey fans if it does though

Still only reports from third parties currently, one of a journalist's magic words 'expected' sat in there. Does look likely he's on his way though.

One encouraging thing is that all the reports of keeping hold of players etc. from the club have presumably come after he tendered his resignation, if that report is true.

Hang on a minute Katharina to become the new chairwoman when reportedly she doesn't want to be known publicly or have any involvement in the club? How will this work?

And isn't interested in football

I'd be worried about other stuff, a lot more than potentially losing Osvaldo to be honest.

I was trying to make a 'funny' but I obviously failed...

On a serious note, I bet we'll have clubs queening up to plunder our squad now Cortese is out of the picture. Good opportunity for Katharina Liebherr to maximise profit? Then again I suppose without the squad in place the value of the club decreases fair bit...

Careful don't upset manji

Thanks for the concern. When are sharing a claret tonight Ill mention your comments. Last time I mentioned you he called you "that effete trolley dolly union plebian who fancied himself as Club Historian". Wordy but reasonable I thought.

Yes it can, we've got an awesome set up there now, it's pretty hard to f#ck it up and we might get some one with a bit more tact in charge. My biggest hope is that whoever takes over tries to patch up relations with Le Tiss etc.

That certainly is of HUGE importance.

Guy who has been at Staplewood and St Mary's

WhitemoreC: I've got some very bad news

WhitemoreC: Pochettino and staff have just all left St Mary's when asked a "are you still the manager of Southampton football club" all didn't comment

Not sure why that's bad news, they'd have been briefed to say absolutely nothing. It means zilch at this moment in time.

But I would say that the time is pretty much here to release a statement. There needs to be an official word confirming this now.
